What would do if you had a mom like this? - Page 5

"first your mom doesn't care about you, now she was "overprotective" when you were younger .

She didn't allow me enough independance.. there were certain things I didn't get to do.

"and i'm just POSITIVE that if your mom wasn't around, you would be more successful."

If she wasn't around, I would have had more freedom and privileges that my my dad allowed.. he always encourages me to learn more and become more independant.

Also.. thinking back.. I only recall getting one gift from her in my entire life (other than money on my birthday or maybe Christmas, but only about $20). That's pretty cold, and no, it wasn't expensive or anything super.. but not that I didn't appreciate it.

When her birthday, Mother's Day and Christmas comes around I always pitch in for a gift with my sisters. Just a couple of weeks ago, I actually thought of doing something nice for her.. but now, I don't know if I still would.

For as long as I can remember, day by day passes by that I can barely talk to her without getting into an arguement, many times her starting them.. I prefer not to, unless something needs to be said.
