Neoseeker Newsletter [#3- Interviews, Stickmen, and Spikey Pikeys]

G'day! Welcome to the third edition of the Neoseeker Newsletter! We've got the same sort of stuff we had last month, with some top animations and websites, and we've also got some new stuff, like the upcoming Interview with an Admin. But it's not all fun and games. The contributions level has hit an all-time low. The newsletter runs on quotes and things you send in! We need more stuff if you want us to keep going! Anyway, with that firmly in your mind, here's the third Neoseeker Newsletter.

You've been very bad people. Despite us pointing it out in our first ever edition, you haven't been going to the individual Film forums. And Mr Kyo Daikun doesn't like this. Visit them now. Or feel Kyo's wrath!

With that out of the way, here's the begining of what some of you have been pining for for ages. Interviews. Now goodness knows why, but you seem to crave personal information about the Neoseeker staff, and the moderation teams. Maybe your own lives aren't interesting enough. But psychoanalysis put to one side, we're going to give you one. To start with, at least. But we didn't want to follow the standard interview procedure, asking endless boring questions and getting fourty pages of text as a result. So instead we're coming to you. The peoples of Neoseeker. We're going to ask Redemption about what you really want to know. Who makes the tea at Neoseeker Towers. Whether Amourette really is locked in the cellars. And what does Redemption eat for breakfast? If you want to partake in this interview, then simply follow these instructions. Take a PM and fill it with up to five questions for the grand lord of Neoseeker. Make them short, to the point questions. We don't want to hear Redemption's full life story. The best 20 (or so) questions will then be forwarded to Redemption himself, and you will be able to read all the answers in next months Newsletter. You have your orders, so prepare your questions!

Another point of interest last month was Neoseeker earning its Six Millionth post! Obviously everyone on the site has helped with this, so big congrats to everyone, but specifically Navigator Bass, who picked up the big six-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.

And the last piece of site news, the third General Forum has been created on Neoseeker. Following the style of General Final Fantasy and Mario Brothers, General Pokemon provides a platform for all discussions on Pokemon. So PokeFans should get down there immediately!



England and man-milk, the connection is finally made obvious in today's set of quotes.

Cactuses are great. Dirty charver scum are not. But pikey cactuses are great. Especially when they swear a lot. Check out the sheer brilliance of dirty pikey cactuses here. Beware, it is very sweary. In sound, so you'll need your speakers on.

Sometimes utterly pointless things are really cool. This transformers video is one of them. It's not really related to transformers in any way. It's just robots and techno music. There's only one response to that. TECHNO TECHNO TECHNO!

Archery is quite a difficult sport. It's never been done proper justice before on a computer. Until now. Arch to your hearts content with this brilliant bowsim. And you get to stick arrows into other people. It's great.

Sometimes the internet produces things of such astounding quality you have no choice but to love them. This is one of them. It took its designer nearly three months to do. Honour his work by checking it out. It's the best stick figure video ever.

Webcomics are common. Bad webcomics moreso. But just occasionally even the worst can pull out a hilarious image. Now this series is far from average, but this is pure brilliance. I'll say no more, lest I spoil it.

Yay for stupid superheroes. This one is my favourite since Tesco Value Man. Behold the wonder of Burnt Face Man!

Lastly, but not leastly, is this wonderful little game where you are a fish who eats other fish. It's simple, addictive, and quite difficult as well. There should be more net games like this.



Steve Irwin is great. He's like Crocodile Dundee without a brain. He's got all the sayings of Rolf Harris, and he likes poking dangerous animals. Now he's been honoured by the most common form of internet game. A DJ Beatbox. Behold DJ Crikey. I normally don't like these beatboxes, but the Irwin sound bytes are unmissable.

It had to be shown at some point or another. The long-running internet joke of going to Google, typing in "Weapons of Mass Destruction", and clicking "I'm feeling lucky". The result is invariably this. Classic internet.

I have to admit, I was playing that fish game for about an hour.

The fish and archer games ROCK! I sat at the computer for 6 hours straight, feeding little fishies... I love Neo newsletters!
