Meh. Gen 1 was about as much into it as I ever was, and even then it was a 2-3 on a scale of 1-10. I never made it past the second city in any Pokemon game.

I bought a few packs a while ago and then I got a few more for Christmas, etc. Now they boast "YOU GET A SUPER RARE CARD AND A HOLO CARD IN EVERY PACK!!!"

Then... it's... not rare, is it? Not really o__O And holo's aren't exciting either. Now I've got 50 holo cards, not including the original holos that I still have all packaged up in nice plastic cases.

Of course, sometimes you get TWO holo cards in the same pack, and then it feels a little better because it means the second holo is legit. But once you put them all into the pile together, you really can't tell the difference.

I'm just honna say something about the cards of now adays. There are two different kinds of Holographic cards, reverses and holographics. Reverses have been arround for a long long time, just like holos. The difference between the two is that Holo's have the artwork holohraphic in a special style. Reverses have the info/moves part of the card holographic. Reverses are in every pack now. Hologeaphocs are still certainly rare. The rare cards of now adays are the seceret shinies and full art EXs.
