I too would allow adults to indulge in Pokemon, and i'll agree that there is nothing really bad about this, as long as they are realistic enough to admit that its kind of sad.

Protip: Algorithms for things in a video games do not indicate how *bleep*ing hardcore it is. All games have equations in them for stuff. Pokemon is no exception.

No one is going to need to know these unless they're doing TAS, and even then they'd probably not need them. If you want to get into things that make pokemon harder, talk about understanding how breeding works and IV's (but not EVs because that's really just a slightly more controlled form of grinding, and is pretty simple)
