A world without technology

Like what? The majority of our world today is centered around some form of technology.

Well, we all know that almost everyone here relies on technology, that's why I made this thread.

I'd spend some time outside, since gaming isn't that much important to me anymore.

We would probably be better off, technology has made us reliant on technology, we waste so much time on it.

Well, i dont think it would be a good thing. Human beings tend to get a bit "bastardish" when the poo hits the fan.

First of all there would be a massive resource war, then a massive human extinction due to a lack of medicine, childcare and power. Swaithes of the population in colder regions would perish due to exposure and millions would die of diseases which are currently treatable. The average life span would slowly decline back to pre industrial levels. Infant mortality rates would sky rocket.

International communications and travel would cease to exist and Island nations like mine would be cut off almost completely.

Then after the war was over and half the population was dead we'd revert back to farming and low level community groups and perhaps even hunting/gathering. With alot of infighting between small communities. Religion and quasi-faiths would probably take off again in a great spiritual renaissance as science declined.

On the plus side many of the worlds ecosystems would recover from the damage they had sustained due to human development pretty quickly.

It would be one hell of a ride. If you survived it.

"Technology" does not simply denote computers, cell phones, and video games. To say we would have no technology at all would mean we would have absolutely nothing... no wheels, no irrigation systems, no bottles, no clothes, no toys, no transportation.... it would mean we would go back to primitive times before we'd even thought of anything to do other than forage for food or any ways to make it easier. Might want to make the thread a little more specific, because I'm pretty sure you're just meaning to refer to games, phones, cars, computers, etc.

This is how i took the topic.

Its how i formed my answer. Societal collapse, bordeline human extinction, etc etc.
