"Bits" that ruin songs. - Page 5

Not even the rap (though it is a convenient place to stop listening as there is nothing else good after that. But the bit from 3:00 is just cringe worthy. Yeah I know it's a world cup song but c'mon :/

Can't think of a specific example atm, but basically for any songs that have a really nice arrangement but awful singer. So I'd be enjoying the music in the intro, getting reading for lyrics part, and then... !BAM! disappointment. If the singer isn't too bad, I'll tolerate the song.

I found it difficult to differenciate with that one LOL. But yes, that "rap" was bloody terrible. I find "rap bits" are often shockingly bad lyrically and musically out of place in many songs.

I find they can include words, phrases or entire concepts and ideas which have no relevance to the song and are included purely because they rhyme. SOMETIMES.

Another one:

That quiet section at 3:05. Bloody aweful.

I also have issues with him screaming and blowing the spacecraft windows IN THE WAY! But we'll let him away with it because 1: hes dead and 2: If i dont he might haunt-fukk my future kids.



EDIT: Also, to continue our other theme of shit songs with even shitter bits i present to thee "LaRoux" with "Bulletproof". (Wonder if she has a boyfriend).

Listen from 2:23 onwards to the slow down followed by the "whatever the f**k that instrument is" solo. Irritating as hell. If you played that "solo" to caged mice or hamsters they'd tear eachother apart in a fit of homocidal rage.
