Would you date someone that smokes?

I guess I would try to not care but the smell on their clothes, breath and their stained teeth are just blughh!

Yes. Bit of a silly thing to judge someone on really.

No way. I don't want lung cancer, I don't want to be with someone dying of lung cancer. And cigarette smoke gives me coughing fits.

I am legitimately surprised by these answers. Does it really make that much of a difference? I mean smoking won't stain your teeth if you take care of them properly and don't smoke two packs a day (I am hypothesizing and am too lazy to get actual numbers). If dental health is a major concern tea, coffee, and coke stain teeth too. As long as they brush regularly, I'm sure they will be fine. If not, just buy some whitening strips.

I do understand the second hand smoke problem, but if they take it outside or something, that shouldn't be a problem. My dad hates smoking but his girlfriend smokes all the time. She just goes outside and sprays perfume on before going back in.

I don't have a problem with smoking, but after not being around it much it bothers me for a bit until I can readjust.
