You're freaking out over an apocalypse from a people that didn't believe in one. Even if it is "Christianized" like you said, the world will still not end. The Bible states you will never know when the world ends. If everyone is expecting it on Dec 21, then by the logic of the Bible it will not happen. So as long as we all think the world's going to end tomorrow, the world will never end? -------------------

Of course, once 2000 rolls around we don't have enough digits anymore to accurately show the date, as a computer would interpret 00 as 1900.
