	French history surprisingly has a lot of victories. From what I've read, the Franks (which are kinda like the ancestors of the French) were one of the German peoples from around there. They went west due to nomad hordes (mongols, vandals, etc) and ended up taking over much land that the Western Roman Empire lost. Also supposedly conquered Britain at some point. Then the whole Napoleon thing. I'm actually kinda interested in knowing how the French gained their reputation of losing battles and wars. Oh well, too bad they'll all be gone in a few decades, shucks, guess I'll never know. :\
