got a suggestion for you, america...stop wasting money on such silly, and expensive things, and fix your multi trillion dollar debt first. or use that money to improve social services so that people would have less of a reason to resort to crime.

seriously, with all the stuff i read about 'national security' and all that bullshit, it really makes america sound like it is the target to daily, if not hourly terrorist attacks that get thwarted because of such surveillance. sure, america has its enemies, but come on!

also, i dont care if they have to stick a finger up my ass, they are not putting me in that cancer machine of theirs at the airport when i go there in half a year.

No government actually puts the interest of the people first. Any opinion you may hold on the government, their allies, etc. could come back to bite you in the ass if the government is really monitoring everyone. Keep in mind you can get thrown in jail for criticizing Israel (online or otherwise) in some western nations and labeled as an 'anti-semite'. These are governments that throw people who aren't Neo-Nazis in jail for criticizing an ally. Who knows if the government could build files of people filled with all the things they said about certain countries or people. If you think that stuff like this couldn't come to back to haunt you someday you're delusional.

It doesn't 'affect me' because they're trampling my rights. People like you are going to think 'hurr who cares it doesnt affect me' until the US is turned into a police state.

yeah its really no surprise, especially coming from america. still, doesnt stop me from finding it sad that so much money and manpower goes to waste because of it.

Uh, yeah, I thought this was common knowledge. I've been hearing of this for years, at least, and it's always been pretty obvious. They record all the phone calls, why not the Internet? The question is if they'll actually bother doing anything with the data, which they can't check for every single person at all times.

This is what the NSA do, didn't you guys know this?


Would be quite handy to get a backup from them if you lost all the data on your PC of course.
