There. Is. Still. Psychological. Damage. Say a woman can't afford to have a baby because of financial difficulties or her age. She could have an abortion. She could have the baby growing in her for nine months, feel attached to it, give birth to it and then give it away. She can miss the baby, be heartbroken, feel regret. You can argue that she will experience these feelings if she aborted too and yes, she can but she won't feel the same attachment to the child. She'd have gone through all the pains of giving birth without gaining anything.

Of course I wouldn't want to give up everything I want in life for some cells I don't believe to be a life just because somebody else decides what he wants to happen to my body and life. Nobody wants that. It's none of your business what women do with their lives. It's THEIR lives.

As for contraception, I'm just going to quote myself again here because I can't be arsed to explain this over and over again:

What if she wanted to be successful before she started a family? Are you saying she should give all of that up because "tough luck, the world is hard"? Could you do the same without feeling a little bit let down?

Yes, I mean fully functional zygotes are being thrown out. Google it if you want to check it out. People complain about abortion all the time but nobody protests the zygotes because they're not affecting a woman's life.

You keep going on about this zygote's right to life. Yeah, sorry to say this but you're only entitled to human rights when you're born, legally. The woman is entitled to human rights. Forcing her to have a baby she didn't want and can't raise is breaching her human rights. So actually the woman does have more rights than the zygote, legally speaking.

No one's convenience or comfort should take precedence over anyone's life, period.

And once again, we loop back to, YOUR OPINION, MAN. You think this way? Cool. I don't. But let's not try and frame it in something totally irrelevant (woman's rights) just so politicians can get more votes from that particular bloc. This is a very serious discussion over the definition of a human being and it's being hijacked for political purposes to be tied to woman's rights.

Except you are putting the babies life before the mother's by saying she can't live her own life. How come your opinions are more valuable than ours?

And nobody is mentioning politics. Guess what, it is linked to women's rights. That woman has a right to her own life.

Oh yeah except it ISN'T just freedom. If you don't know the human rights, go and read them and then you can make an informed answer. Having a baby affects all aspects of somebody's life and can put their life at risk.

The zygote isn't entitled to the same rights as the mother. It gains these later on when abortions are no longer allowed.
