quote hiigaran  i wasn't aware that amtrak had diesels. mmm. im spoiled i guess being from the city as most of our passenger trains use catenary wires. from time to time, i do see NJ transit diesels on the northeast corridor going to atlantic City. Most of the diesel trains up my way belong to NJ Transit or a freight company. I've never been on a diesel before, it would be interesting -------------------
