This has been around for a while, but I can't help wondering how people feel about their criminal information being on the internet. I get that most of your info is somewhere on the internet, but to advertise criminal records and have criminal record search engines is just plain over the top. Just look at how many results Google has for this.

Do you guys think your criminal records should be on the internet for record and public awareness or is that something you'd rather be kept as secretive as most of your other info that's stored on there? There's probably a birth certificate or something somewhere on the web giving out your details and sites that can hold some really personal stuff, but are criminal records necessary? And look at how much easier they are to find than anything else. Is it right for people to freely be able to exploit someone else's wrongdoings? Or should it be just as private or perhaps more private than everything else?
