So I've been talking with this secret group of select individuals, and we have been thinking about bringing a great idea back into action: The Neo Newspaper! Member: "But that thing failed miserably last time, King! Why should we bring it back?! You guys are crazy!!" Crazy? Yes, maybe. But we still want to give it a second chance. Our main focus, before even considering to appoint writers and editors, is to ask YOU, as a community, if you would like to see it brought back at all. We really want to see this thing take flight again, because it has so much potential. The biggest issue last time was community involvement, and actually getting this thing popular among the community. So, therefore, we cannot stress enough how much the success of this newspaper depends on YOU guys having an interest in it. If we have some dedicated members this time around, I really think we can create a newspaper that isn't only fun to read in your spare time, but informative as well. Now I leave this thread to you guys to respond. Justin, Quierta and I will be willing to answer any further questions. Thanks! 	I'd like to make clear that our attention is primarily on contributions and not so much staff. We will not be requesting a team of staff like before (given the event that it is brought back), but will instead assign a very small group of trusted members to edit only. If you'd be willing to submit articles, please voice an opinion saying so. The Neo Newspaper will not be brought back unless a substantial amount of members agree to participation as to avoid the problem we ran into last time. Thanks!

	Perhaps as an e-newsletter yes it could work. I didn't even know what happened to it. There was a thread on it, then it was confirmed, and then nothing happened. I'd sign up to recieve it if there was one, perhaps even put my name up to help on it.

	There was a Neo Newspaper last time. It released once a month. Obviously that's another problem--getting it more publicized. ------------------- We don't know who we are until we see what we can do.

	harbin91, Horse; the Neo Newspaper was announced in Loungin' and then brought to Community Events (like told in the Loungin' forum, I'm pretty sure). The newspaper published about 6-7 (I can't remember) articles - being one a month - and was brought up in site-wide threads quite often. I do agree that publicizing it better would have been good, but if you saw the original thread it should not have been hard to find the real thing. We had a subscription thread based in CE where it was released each month. ------------------- Justin -------------------

	How do people still not know of Community Events? Unless you've been gone for two-three years or are really thick in the head, you should know of its existence. We've hosted countless events there and we've advertised it all over the site on many occasions.
