	Log in to remove this sponsored message I used to dislike it before, though I think that's because I had only heard the likes of Skrillex and artists like him. It's actually a large genre of music and I've grown to enjoy it! So Loungin' what do you like/dislike about dubstep and why? ------------------- Why did I move here? 	I really don't like it. I don't see the point. Skrillex is a gay name and he plays gay music from his Mac Book. It can only be enjoyed if on drugs. And if you need to be on drugs to enjoy it, then it obviously sucks.

	I like some of it, but not all. I can't even finish through some dubstep songs because it sounds like the same thing over and over (and it is). Good dubstep I can listen to makes me feel all pumped up though. 8D I like some of the mainstream "dubstep" music/songs from people like Skrillex, but they really aren't that good. Era of the Mac Book instrument. -------------------

But musically, it's hugely changed from its early days, and most of what gets called dubstep these days (lookin' at you Skrillex) is electro/dub crossover music. The genre has splintered massively since it started, so I find it better to call most of it 'bass music', because it doesn't really sound like dubstep any more. ------------------- _last.fm

	They're good upbeat music. It's just not the type of music I would listen to everyday. Good for dancing and working out. -------------------

I agree, the things that are churned out nowadays under the label of dubstep aren't very good compared to the tracks created nearer to the genre's invention. It's also been somewhat merged with DnB which is something I also enjoy. It distresses me that people are put off the whole genre because artist like Skrillex practically butcher it. ------------------- Why did I move here? 	Completely dislike it and I've got a slight taste for everything. To me though, it's as annoying as that shitty stuff they call music that basically has someone talking quickly over the backing track. To me, it's as annoying as drum'n'bass.
