	Log in to remove this sponsored message Hey everyone. Idk what to do.. My birthday was in April and I would have been able to go for my N then. Which basically means go for the test where I can drive on my own without a parent. My parents barely ever take me driving. I respect them and appreciate everything they do for me .. It's just kind of upsetting. I do my chores of course, I do more than that, I get good grades, and I don't do anything half-assed. I am in the top leadership program at school.. I don't know why my parents won't take me driving.. I have asked them over and over again, and they keep saying they will but they take me like once a month or not even which is unfortunately not enough for me to take the test and pass as there are things I have not covered. I took driving lessons last summer, but I never got to practice the skills I learned so I pretty much forgot.. I have tried getting a job though and even though my resume is kick ass I am just having troubles so I can't pay for my own driving lessons right now... TL;DR I'm a good person, how can I convince my parents to take me more? I have tried so many ways, and I never get it..

	Ask them every day, or if they say they're busy ask to go with a relative. Personally I hated driving with my parents in the car, so I took the drivers test with probably like 5 or 6 hours behind the wheel. But where I live, the test only lasts like 5 minutes anyway. -------------------

	This is gonna sound real stupid and dangerous, but if your parents still won't take your after president bugging, ask a friend who is laid back and can afford to have a few dings in their car to help you. If they're really cool/don't care, they'll do it. It's better than nothing. Just so you know, I am in the same boat. My patents refused last year, and now I'm left to myself to get what I need to get my license. Now I just have to take the test, but for the whole last year my parents would rarely let me drive, unless my dad was drunk off his ass. -------------------

	I admit, I did horribly for my permit. I took the test about 6 times. And got it on the last. Did driving class and all that garbage and all I really learned was to take the smaller, zippier car before anyone gets to it. Also met my first girlfriend in school as well. Which consisted of standing outside class on break smoking and me thinking about my impending breakup with this girl. HOWEVER. The big driving test with the instructor arrived and I was paired with the most annoying bastard in the class. My dad dropped me off for my test while my partner rolled up in his new car his parents bought for him. I let him go first. And he ran a stop sign. Finished his drive. My turn and I passed with stars and rainbows shooting out of my eyeballs. He failed. Long story short don't be a prick and you will succeed in life. Also in answer to your question, I never drove around with my parents, maybe a handful of times. I suppose just don't sweat it and do all that defensive driving and you'll be fine. oh god that's long.

	justinsfriend do all you can to get a job. dunno if you've never had one before, but if that's the case then when you do get one, your parents will view you in a different way, like all responsible and shit like dawg. do your parents have really expensive cars that they wouldn't want you to scratch? maybe save up when you get a job, then buy a little shitbox and do your driving in that. if you said you forgot all you learnt from your lessons, then yeah you should probably take as many as you can. doesn't help your parents won't take you for a drive though... -------------------

	My parents always took me driving. Even if they were going to the shops I'd volunteer to drive just so I could get more experience. But my dad took me on random drives all the time. Passed the test easy. Ask your parents how they learnt to drive and say they need to teach you because you can't rely on your parents to drive you everywhere for the rest of your life.

	i drove for a yr without a proper license all u need to do is sneak out at night and practice sometime and somewhere not busy
