	Log in to remove this sponsored message i don't think you grasp the idea that what was barbaric back then is defined differently to what constitutes as barbaric right now. hostile past compared with what we're used to now? definitely. But at that time, when there wasn't such things as the human rights, there wasn't really such thing as 'barbaric' acts. yes, that means the jews and the christians did as much damage as the muslim prior to the inception of human rights. to say one religion was more barbaric than judaism/ christianity and other religions prior to those religions might not be a strong argument. unless you're saying that there's plenty of absurd things in koran, in which i agree. but keep in mind koran was written in the "barbaric" era. while the bible and the torah were written in the relatively same era, they were edited to adapt w/ the modern times, whereas the muslims believe they don't have the right to edit the original texts. ------------------- i will stand, take my stand at the back the motherbleeping bus cuz im a proud ass bleep ✪ Fandango Crew ✪

	Problem is, you actually searched for it. Of courser you're going to come by articles about it, are you honestly surprised? It happens in every race, the same would happen if you searched for 'white males raping girls', you wouldn't get any articles saying the contrary... Don't let this cloud your judgement, not a whole race of people are the same, everyone's different.

Many nation states during that time have practiced it and firmly believed in it, and many did not, just as today. Human rights is something that should be widespread; not only to be reserved for dictators and leaders, and everyone under their rule to be stripped of it. There shouldn't be any excuses about that tbh. Not sure if you could attribute it to the religions when the koran and the bible forbid people from killing (though exceptions are to be made, eg if you're under attack, then you're more than able to launch a retaliation against the group of people who attacked you, not the people as a whole. Islam, Christianity and Judaism were founded in relatively close area- hence why they collided with each other more than any other religion. If you had read the bible or the torah, i'm sure you'd realize that people during the era were indeed barbaric (according to our definition, of course). is it excusable in modern times? nah, not really. But did they know any better? There wasn't any media or example as to what constitutes "human rights". People like Jesus, Muhammad, and Moses, however, had to deal with other people who had adopted/ believed other religions, and i suppose muslims/ christians/ jews in the early age were more prone to conflicts (due to geographical locations, social status, etc) compared with buddhism or even shintoism (since it was the common practice in early japan). quote That's not entirely true.
