Actually, in the book Katniss had a slight personality. Though I read it a long time ago so that could be fond memories. It's the same formula that worked for Twilight, main female girl, not overly gorgeous, no personality so girls project theirs onto her, with two good-looking guys who want her.
The movie violence was awful. Camera shake then they fall to the floor. The 12A rating ruined it

Was talking about the book yeh, not seen the movie. It was like scollins took a stereotype that most people would expand on and just didn't expand on it. Katniss was pretty unbelievable

I ALWAYS FEEL SILLY BITCHING ABOUT BOOKS AIMED AT ELEVEN YEAR OLDS but people read it like it's adult fiction so i will treat it as that

Battle Royale did it so much better. If you haven't read the manga, you need to. They took the concept, gave us some characters we can really root for, and just ran with it.

I read "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" for English. Didn't like it one bit. At least the book was short...

As for the Hunger Games trilogy, I enjoyed it. Then again, I don't read too deep into character's personalities, so any book that holds my attention I consider good.

And I dislike Two and a Half Men.

programmes that claim god invented the world and and humans and animals.some people are jus THICK and dont understand evolution so they ignore it and make up some crap about being made by god. if you dont understand it doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

APPLE THE COMPANY IN GENERAL

there over priced over advertised crap which is NO better then any other pc or tablet pc or mp3 player. before people go on im not jealous or poor and and can afford to buy apples stuff. people pay £1000s for mac book pro laptop which is generally alot worse specs then a say a windows laptop of the same price. there tablet pc are again very overpriced for a android tablet with similar specs its cheaper. iphones overpriced crap which tends to break down more often then any other brand of phone. ipods over priced mp3 players which require there own software to work properly when u can buy NORMAL mp3 player for half the price and get alot better quality.
the way there staff think there better then anyone else because they work for apple.
the people brag about having a iphone or ipad when what they really got was a over priced mass produced piece of crap. your iphone or ipad isnt any better or different to other 10000000000000000000000000000000000 in the world jus because you own it.

Not the cool kind of cult that... like a cult following a good but rather niche TV show would get. The other, far more disturbing kind, where they do strange things to animals in the basement and drink kool-aid.

It's the same vibe I got from those Zumba latin fusion dance fitness infomercials that are on at like stupid o'clock in the morning when your resistence to toned women glistening with sweat is at its lowest.
