This has been going on for about a year now. I have deleted every instance of Google from my computer(Even in the Registries via Regedit) as well as scanning for Malware with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Spy: Search and Destroy. Both found some Malware, I removed it all, that stuff is done now.

So what could be the problem now?

I'm running a Windows Vista computer.
Firefox version 13.0.1(The latest one, I believe.)
IE version 9.0.8112.16421

I don't remember what exactly I was doing on the computer when this started happening, but I do remember being on Google.

take a look at the hosts file,I dont know if on vista its in the same place.But just look up the location of it.

hey if it doesnt let you open it just make a copy of it and put it on your desktop you take a look at it like that easy.Than since its a copy you can just delete it afterwards.

if you find that google is added to it,what you do is edit it in the copy and put the copy back into the original folder and windows should let you replace the old one without giving you too much trouble with permissions.

I left the simple things out check if your browsers are using a proxy first,in IE its under internet options/connections in lan settings it should be empty.Default is automatically detect settings checked and thats all.And your going to have to look for it in firefox cause I dont know really.

Yeah, I know what a host file is It does contain Google, and Bing as well, despite me never using Bing. I had tried to edit the two out before, but it gave me a message about needing "ascension" or "excension" one of the two. I never thought about making a new file and re-writing it though.... Huh.

Yeah, I've checked the proxies before. I even went as far as to uninstall and reinstall both IE and FF(There were some others problems I needed to take care of as well, and reinstalling them was the only way to do so.) Everything is perfectly fine on that end.

EDIT: It would appear that, even though I had accessed the file earlier, I no longer have a "hosts" file....

EDIT2: Re-created a new "hosts" file and placed it in the folder the original should be in. Didn't change anything.

EDIT3: Yeah no, it won't replace the hosts file. I can open it through the "run" command, and I can view the file, but if I navigate to where it is suppose to be(drivers>etc) it is not there. If I simply recreate a hosts file and move it over to the "etc" folder, it will go, but won't change anything.

There are many reasons for that. But the main reason is because 3DS cartridges are physically different than DS ones, and they don't fit in a DS (Lite).
