if so...ouch. i know i dont really care much about appearance, but...wow, that just looks awkwardly designed, and awkward to look at. still, its not the ugliest ive seen. not by a longshot.

Right, so I didn't know where to put this, but here is my question. I have a YouTube channel mainly for video games, right now I'm finishing the series finale for a weapon guides series and going to start a new tutorial video for another game. I need to know how to get more popularity on YouTube with mainly tutorial and gameplay videos. Commentaries are overdone and I usually have nothing good to say so please don't suggest that. :<

I've had a couple of Youtubers send me invitations to their channels before via messages, one a musician, another was basically a boasting comedian. If you want to try that, you can just send random groups of people messages telling them about yourself, what your videos are mainly about, greet them, etc. You could also do what Xelrog T Apocalypse suggested and take the more social route, which probably would be easier to do, and you don't have to feel bad about shamelessly advertising your channel.

I don't know if the problem is with the program or with the discs, but... I've been having a problem with video files converted with Videora iPod Converter. Most discs, I'm able to rip and convert just fine, but a few of them put out video files where the video is composed of blank grey and yellow screens that distort here and there; the audio is just fine.

The process I've been using is to rip the VOB's from the discs using DVD Decrypter, then to run the VOB's through Videora using the default iPod Classic (6th Generation) settings. This process has worked for all of my discs, except for these:

Princess Mononoke (Canadian version--but that's still Region 1, so it shouldn't be an issue)
Spirited Away
The Simpsons (Season 1 box set)
The Simpsons Movie

Does anyone have any ideas? Red Kawa (makers of Videora) don't have any kind of help desk or means of contact for customer service, so they're not an option.

Xelrog, why are you still using an obsolete unsupported program to rip your discs? And then, use an inferior program to convert said ripped discs. Tsk tsk tsk.

I don't remember why you said that Handbrake didn't work for you, but I highly suggest you get the nightly versions since they're constantly updated. They do contain bugs here and there, but I haven't came across any major ones myself. Then, just dump DVD Decrypter entirely. I know I spoke of it highly back then, but lately it hasn't been reliable to me and I've found alternatives.

I no longer rip DVDs, I instead rip Blu-rays but the process is still the same for me. For the mean time, I've been using MakeMKV. It can rip just about any Blu-ray or DVD out there, unless it's a new release with updated DRM, but it'll be update within a few days to support the new discs. Once the DVD is ripped to an MKV file, just load that MKV to handbrake and let it conver it. Now, there's only one downside to this, foreign subs. I don't know whether it's MakeMKV or Handbrake that's the problem here, but for some reason it will not "automatically" burn in the subs when a forced track is present in the MKV file. You will have to manually select this forced subtitle track and burn it in the Subtitle tab of Handbrake. This is the only drawback to this method, but it's almost hassle free.

When that fails (rarely), I then use a combination of the DVDFab PassKey Lite and DVD Clone. The Passkey will act like Any DVD, and will just remove the DRM of the DVD and then I'll use DVD Clone to rip the DVD to an actual DVD image or .VOB files. This method has not failed me so far, except for newly released DVDs with updated DRM protection. Since the Passkey Lite is free, all you have to do is wait for an update, and you should be good to go.

Now, if you don't want to get these programs because it breaks your normal ripping methods, that's fine so I'll explain why you're getting these errors. It's rather simple, DVD Decrypter is most likely ripping a .VOB file of the wrong fake title from the DVD. I don't if you've come across this yourself, but newer DVDs are now using a duplicate title to prevent users from ripping their DVDs. DVD rippers that aren't updated to detect this type of DRM will accidently pick a fake title to rip and you'll get a .VOB file with video that has a bunch of glitches. So, all you gotta do is open up the regular DVD on Windows Media Player, and then play it and see which title it plays. When you get DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD, just select the right title to rip and all should be well.

Whenever I have troublesome discs I try different programs to rip the DVD to make sure that it's not the DVD but the program that I'm using. If all of them fail, then it's off to google the problem and see if others are having issues. Which will usually help me solve my problem.

See above where I mentioned the Ripping software ripping the incorrect DVD title. Once you get your Ripping program to rip the correct title, you should have the correct .VOB to view as you please.

Problem with uploading videos to YouTube, created a new account for Thai Fights which I've recorded on my phone but when they've 100% uploaded and it gets to the processing stage it just fails. Video is 15 minutes long. Anyone know why I'm having this problem?

Epub's do indeed have their own metadata.
