Anyone here cut their own hair?

I have medium-length hair (male), and I always try to cut my own hair.

Overall, I go get a professional haircut 1x-2x a year (usually for employment interviews or important college meetings with a professional)

It actually does save a lot of money in the long run.

I know it is easier if you get a buzz cut, etc. b/c you only need to go over your hair and not worry too much about mistakes

But, I like medium-length hair, not buzz cuts.

The only hard part is getting the back of my head trimmed (have to use the mirror trick).

Anyone else here cut their own hair?

No, I get one of those faggy twilight ones now.

I trim the dead ends off of mine, but seeing as how I'm growing mine out, there's no reason to get a full blown hair cut. I haven't had a real hair cut for at least two years. It's so much cheaper to pay nine dollars for hair cutting scissors ONCE than to pay at least twelve every four or six months to get about an inch cut off the bottom.

Lol, I got a haircutting kit at the Family Dollar for $12 (I went for the more expensive haircutting kit at the Family Dollar).

I must say, it pays for itself just after one haircut.

I was debating cutting my hair tonight (which is why I posted this), but decided to hold off until next week, when I will probably only cut a little bit off.

I'll probably start seeing as how whenever I go to get it cut they mess up somehow. Not an issue now since I'm growing it back out (it's about half an inch from shoulder length now).

I don't cut my own hair but I probably should. I usually just get a #4 buzz cut which I'm sure I could handle myself. Place I go to is some small local business so its good to give them the money though.

Unless you are using a hair-trimmer, it is pointless and stupid to use ordinary scissors on your hair. The shears that stylists use are upwards around $150(that's the cheapest), and ordinary scissors would just split the ends and destroy your hair.
