Wicked

So I know about the whole 'only Bostonians use wicked' and that it isn't a word used regularly by other people. I had family over for the past two days from the south and midwest, and when I was talking with my cousins I let slip a few 'wickeds'. They immediately laughed and said that all the stuff about Bostonians was true.

I mean, I knew only NE in general used the word frequently, but does anyone else that doesn't use in Boston use this word? I don't know man it just makes me feel weird, I always thought I didn't have an accent of any sort.

I used to the use the word on Xbox Live a lot and whenever I said it people immediately knew I was from Boston or at least MA. It is stereotypical for someone from Boston to use the word a lot?

People say it in the UK quite a lot, in my experience anyway. Hear the word pop up a few times a day tbh.

This girl that used to be in my school moved away to Arkansas and she told all of us that everyone made fun of her for saying "wicked" so much, haha. I say it sometimes but I don't think I say it as much as I used to. Unless I do and I just don't notice it.
