TV is awful. There's nothing entertaining on it these days. And before you say News, guess what? Just go to FOX or CNN's website if you need it, which is better because you can read at your own pace and go back over something if you need. Also quote Strawberryclock
Honestly I don't understand why anyone would play video games. do you like becoming fat? Do you like wasting hours of your life on nothing? Do you even lift? Because fun things are fun. I enjoy video games. Why not do something I enjoy in my free time? No, I'm not fat, I'm pretty skinny (but not overly), and it's not like I'm some no-life who spends all his *bleep*ing time on some awful MMO and eats junk food on his couch. The same could be said of TV on wasting away hours, minus news, which is better online anyway. And no, I don't lift weights, because I don't really see a need too, I'm pretty healthy anyway other than low stamina which I've pretty much always had, and don't see a need to get big muscles. tl;dr, Stop acting so high and mighty. You spend your time on a online forum. Oh please, you're obviously in denial.
the reason is that your free time shouldn't be spent wasting your time doing nothing amusing yourself. You might as well just spend all day jerking off if that was the case. You should spend free time to better ones self or to help others, not mindlessly sitting in front of a screen pushing away pretending to kill imaginary bad guys or jump over imaginary obstacles.
You probably have low endurance because you're unhealthy because you never work out at all, and your later life with be PLAGUED with health problems.
Honestly your defense of video games is just showing how much of an addict you really are.
Also I don't spend all day online. I haven't been on here in like a month. I don't even game that much anymore. I used to spend all day, when I was like nine, even until I was like thirteen, but now I mostly just *bleep* around on the internet instead of doing anything even REMOTELY productive. I still play games, just not as much. The last time I've played more than an hour at a time and more than three a day was back in the middle of August, when a certain game came out that I spent all day and the next two playing, and that was just because I was stuck in a car for the next four days. I hardly call that an addict. I've barely played maybe sixteen hours the entirety of September, which, despite your probable claims, isn't that much. Also, lolfeedingthetroll I don't even *bleep*ing care I'm bored anyways. quote THIS GUY
..but now I mostly just *bleep* around on the internet instead of doing anything even REMOTELY productive. That really the problem, isn't it? Then it's not games you're addicted to, it's the internet. Any nerd hobby is really just codeword for "worthless hobby that doesn't help anyone", and it shows. Nerds are really the most despicable people. Now, you might say "Strawberry, most of the people who make advances in science are nerds!" That's cute, BUT IT'S WRONG! Most of the people who make these advances are people dedicated to their science, not masturbating to Japanese pornography or beating the newest $10 DLC from call of duty. they are not nerds, but scientists and businessmen.
I understand, the internet and nerd culture is addicting. I am also an internet addict, and I understand how hard it can be to keep your addiction from absorbing your life. But there is a way to get help. You just have to realize you've lost control, and accept that. You have to get help, like I did, and move on with your life.
I feel nothing but pity for nerds. They are being poisoned by what they love, and it's the saddest thing to watch.
And implying I am a troll hurts my feelings. I wouldn't stoop to such measures. That's an animal move, to try to make other people angry for no reason but your own enjoyment. Anyone who goes around trolling is a sick individual. Yeah, I pretty much agree on how the "BUT NERDS ARE THE ONES WHO MAKE ADVANCED IN SCIENCE THEY AREN'T BAD" is bullshit. But the rest about nerd being "poisoned" by what they love is bull in my opinion. You're really sounding like a poor self-help book here. Also DC Sniper seriously Cooking Mama is not a good example at all, it's just minivans bullshit man. How about one of those virtual cookbooks they have that shows you step by step how to make something?
