Well, it's finally happened. It is with a heavy heart that I announce my retirement from Neoseeker for an indefinite period of time. It might be a week, it might be a month, a year, forever. I don't know yet. All I know is that certain events just leave a bad taste in my mouth when I come back here and see it all. I need to take some time off and get that bad taste out of my mouth before I can return again.

I've been here for close to 4 years now...that's a long time, and during that time I've pissed off a lot of people...other members, moderators, even supers (no hard feelings, hey Mr Gray?). However, during this time I've made so many friends and acquaintances that I couldn't possibly name them all, and I'm not even going to try. Those of you know who you are, and know that I will cherish your camraderie. I was never promoted to a position of authority, but I like to think that I have made a positive impact on this site in my time. I had a blast hosting events such as 5 minutes to 12 and spreading the joy around.

I will still be active on other sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and even Skype and Steam. So, if you'd like to stay in touch with me during this exile, please PM me and let me know your details. I will pop on periodically during the weekend to see my PM's, with the aim of ceasing all activity on Sunday night. There's many of you that I'd love to stay in contact with, ranging from the Pokemon and MLP forums to Oceania and Comics.

I know it's 'just an internet forum' and all that, but I can honestly say that I've enjoyed just about every minute I've been on this site. Sadly, that feeling has changed in the last few weeks...just too many bad things that I think about, and I think it'll do me good to step back and regain my sanity for a while.

As a great narrator once said, 'fate rarely calls upon us at a time of our choosing'. I look forward to hearing from you guys.
