Okay so I finally got the ISO image of Windows 7 SP1 on a DVD.
There's one problem: I don't know what to do with it.
Now seeing as this thread already has 30 pages, I don't expect a reply until thread #35. Alternatively, you can PM me.
The question is, what do I do with the DVD?
I'm not entirely sure you should be talking about ISO's on this site (it's that kinda of the same thing as "ROMing"?). Anyway, if you have the "windows 7" cd put in your computer and restart. When it boots up go the the menu (I think it's usually F2 on start up it should tell you what to press). Go to boot-up options and look for someone that talks about priorities. Select BOOT FROM CD. It will list a cd drive so make sure if you have multiple CD drives that you choose the correct one. It should install from that point. Once it's installed make sure you DISABLE automatic updating. I would recommend PMing me or someone else who knows a lot about computer updates at this point. It's not the same thing as ROMing, it's installing Windows 7 w/ SP1 on a laptop...

Does anyone know of an online random generator that will allow me to enter a name, and put a frequency of occurrence with it?
For example, if I have two names, lets say, "Bob" and "Tim", and the numbers 40 and 10 are the number of chances for it to be selected:
Bob - 40 Tim - 10
Are you asking for it will automatically tell you the statistically provability of pulling out Bob vs Tim without randomizing it yourself? quote Fletchr

Well I'd hate to say that this didn't get resolved, but it did but not in the way of reinstalling Windows 7 on my laptop. Turns out the HDD was completely ruined. (somehow.) So I found out that my laptop has warranty still. Dell is sending me a replacement HDD (hopefully today) with all the drivers and Windows 7 on it and what not.

Where can I get my iPod touch 4G cracked screen fixed really cheap?
And by cheap I mean, name some prices. Reasonable ones.

Where do you live? In a well populated city? If you do I'd recommend looking around town for mobile phone shops like ones that unblock contract phones and sell second hand ones. Got my screen fixed there for £15 but will obviously vary on shops/city. How do I update to the latest version of iOS? Need it for SkyGo Okay good, cause I didn't know if I could just take it into a cell phone place to get it fixed. Whew.
Oh and to answer your question, update your iTunes to the latest version, and then plug in your iDevice then it should say an update is available.

I want to change the system sounds on my laptop to songs I like, example, when I shutdown Windows, it plays a song, so on, so forth.
How long does the .wav file need to be, like lengthwise? I imagine a few seconds, but I would like to know an exact or approximate.

This is for all you mechanically inclined seekers.
I have a Chevrolet S10 (1991) and it's a stick shift. It won't start. Engine will NOT turn over, but the battery is fine, everything else is (except the windshield wipers) working. What could be the problem?
Oh, and yes, the parking brake is off, the clutch is pushed all the way, etc.
EDIT: Figured it out, it's the starter.

This needs to be answered immediately or ASAP.
I installed the Windows 8 preview thing. I want Windows 7 back because I like W8, and I'd rather wait to buy it to use it.
Problem (probably): I don't have a W7 installation disk. How do I go back to W7?
