He's obviously being sarcastic. Honestly, post counts are not anything to be proud of (lol says the guy with over 40K) but sometimes how you get them is something of an achievement. If you are consumed with post counts and figure out how to keep posting meaningless posts with the minimum character content to add to your post count, then it is a little pathetic. But if most of your posts are about contributing to the site, the forums, and your fellow seekers and joining into intelligent discussions, or if you are a moderator of an insanely busy forum which will usually bring your post count up, then I think it is something to be proud of. Not that my history on this site is anything that should interest anyone, but at least half of my post count comes from the GTA forums I moderated, and those forums, particularly San Andreas and Vice City were insanely busy back in the day. I bet that a good 10K of my posts are from messages in thread closures in SA and VC. I think Gregm mentioned something about that in this thread. I am sure Gotenks has similar experiences as I think he is the guy with the most posts on the site. Truth be told, the only time I am ever aware of my post count is when someone sends me a congratulations PM for some milestone I reached or posts something in one of the forums I frequent. Hahahaha I didn't even know I hit 40K until someone PM'd me about it. -------------------
