It's not an eyesore and if you actually spend time hitting F4 reading them then you must really have nothing better to do. :/ We could say "who cares?" about pretty much every complaint or suggestion that has ever been made, you know. The point is rather simple: the captions are getting stale and old, and considering some people are complaining about them for various reasons (they're just a bunch of inside jokes, some are derogatory towards members, they aren't funny (and yes Haz, it's clear that many were intended to be funny)), there really isn't any reason to keep them around, at least in the capacity they currently are. You say "who cares?" if they're up there or not, so what difference does it make to you if they aren't around anymore? Anyways, I stand by the idea that they simply be changed to show different site rules and posting guidelines each time as well as some Neoseeker site related trivia. ------------------- So what's the use of knowing the truth if no one's gonna believe you?

	As are you, Mia. Let people complain about stuff they don't like without jumping down their throats about it. This is little different than most things we see in the RFS forum or really in any Feedback thread. It takes both sides to make a "mountain" out of this supposed "molehill", you know. It is just as easy to say "shut them down" as it is to say "keep them up", because who cares either way, right? Really Argetgarm? How is making them actually useful in some way (because everyone in Loungin' could actually stand to read the rules once in a while) worse than them being useless and asinine one-liners? If the point was for them to be "cool", then they would have been ditched a long time ago. ------------------- So what's the use of knowing the truth if no one's gonna believe you?

I never said I'm not caring, I'm saying that there's no point in making a big deal (the captions) out of something so small, and by replying to me you're growing it, which turns me to reply, and so on and so on. You are saying it's not a "big deal", but you cared enough to sit there and defend them despite the fact most people don't seem to care for them, even those that don't really care if they're around. You say they aren't something to be disputed all the time, but the fact that they are being disputed all the time doesn't lend itself well to them being around, does it? Seriously, I don't really care either way about them, but I am adding my two cents that it is obviously easier to just get rid of them or change them completely than it is to keep dealing with a line of complaints about them every few weeks. ------------------- So what's the use of knowing the truth if no one's gonna believe you?

	Because the rest of the community doesn't care. Seriously, I get that for some reason or another you really want to keep the captions around. Maybe you submitted some of then, I really don't know. In any case, the fact is that you can fit here and defend these captions that no one cares about until your face turns blue and then do it all again in a few weeks, or you can accept the fact that most people dont care and many actually dislike them and just admit they should probably be tossed by now. They carried no significance when they were made other than to try something new, and they have become stale. Much like an old header, there is no deep reason to keep them around anymore. Come on Mia, it doesn't take much deep thinking to accept that much. ------------------- So what's the use of knowing the truth if no one's gonna believe you?

	Mia you're the only one making this a big deal and bitching. Everyone else is debating the merits or shortfalls of the captions. You're just coming in here with no constructive criticism or support and just whining about people who are giving negative feedback on the captions. It's a feedback thread, not a complain at people who are feeding back thread. -------------------
