Growing up I could never understand the concept of shoes being either for your left foot or right foot but it didn't matter with socks. I would study each of my socks until I had somehow convinced myself that it was shaped in a way that would fit my left/right foot better than the other and filed them away accordingly.

Which reminds me of a similar story...

I always, always always hated sleeping without socks because the feeling of the sheets on my toes weirded me out. But my dad adamantly wanted to teach me how to sleep without socks, so he actually HID them from me. I was about 4 years old (the same time as milk soup) and could NOT SLEEP.

... Luckily for me, I had at my disposal TWO BARNEY HAND PUPPETS! So like the clever little bugger I was, I stuffed my feet into Barney's ass and wore him like socks all night. Many sleeps were had.

I was that kid who took random shit apart and tried and put it back together.

Except I almost never did it successfully and I'm not some genius now or anything.

My weird thing was, I had this blanket with a sort of fabric lining. I used to scratch the lining and suck my thumb at the same time, felt awesome

I used to absolutely love the sound cats made when I strangled them. It's not like I killed them or anything, I'd just strangle them until they'd make this lovely kind of screaming noise. I stopped though when I released it's kind of upsetting for the cat.

Other than that, allow me to first mention that I grew up in a house with my mother, and two sisters. Dad was always gone because he worked out of town. You see, I couldn't have been older than five, maybe six. When I was taking a bath I 'shaved' my legs. (I never took the cover off the actual razor). Wasn't a bright day for me.

Apparently when I was very young, I used to eat soap when I was in the bath. The good thing is that it obviously piqued my mothers curiosity enough as she eventually felt she had to have a taste to see why I enjoyed it so much. Apparently it tasted foul.

The strangest thing I did as a kid was trying to be a dinosaur, I hated being human, I'd pretend I was a T-Rex, running around, chasing kids and roaring at them.

Did you do that when you was young?

I used to throw food up the ceiling, put it in the bin, give it to the dogs just to say i finished my dinner.
