Man, it's better than nothing.

ZL it is nothing.

I mean come on think about it. How the hell are you ment to breathe it in?

And just how the bloody hell is steam suposed to relief your asthma.

I take it none of you have got asthama. Listen there have been times when I have had such a severe attack that I cannot breathe.

I have had it so bad that even trying to take my inhaler is a complete nightmare.

I have even had to be put on the nebuliser a couple of times.

So I know what I am talking about. I have had it since I was 17.

Steam it up: Inhale steam as soon as you feel that the asthma attack is upon you. To generate steam, pour filtered drinking water in your steamer or just boil in a pot over the stove and the start inhaling the steam. Steam will help to loosen up the secretions that block the tiny airways and decrease the hyper-reactivity of the airway by soothing the epithelium and nerve endings.

Water Water everywhere! : In lieu of inhaling steam you can also drink lot of warm water. It has the same effect as that of the steam inhalation. A warm glass of milk or hot coffee will also give you some immediate relief.
