I came to this thread to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of bubble gum.

How long were/are they working on this game by now?

lol, hope it'll be worth the wait for those that waited and still waiting for that long.

An ordinary FPS that could have easily have been made in two years by anyone competent is only famous because it's taking bloody ages.

That's actually a great marketing scheme.

The developers were sued for wasting time. It looked like the project was going to be canceled forever.

Yahtzee made a fake review for the game that never was. But it looks like it will be now.

Well, some movies also took years before it finally was finished.

One animation movie I can remember with Vincent Price, where Vincent recorded his dialogue somewhere in the 60's or 70's, but the movie itself never got finished or release until somewhere in the early 90's.

Another one was with John Candy in it, also took a decade, perhaps 10 years or so after Candy's death when that one was finally finished and released.

Don't see why that wouldn't happen with a videogame some time..
