Its purpose is to give you an idea of what we do and do not allow here in Loungin'! As always, we respect the Forumwide Rules of Conduct, Etiquette and Acceptable Behavior in here. Loungin's rules are in addition to the side wide rules! As with the sitewide rules, the spirit of the rules will be enforced. Loungin' has an extremely large community and there is one thing that everyone here must have for it to function peacefully: respect. While differing opinions and confrontations are natural and expected, in no case should you ever attack another person or his/her opinions. Loungin' is intended to be a positive environment for people to kick back and socialize, and as such negativity has no place here. We allow healthy debates and may even go so far as to encourage doing so, so long as it remains calm and thought-out. Basically, we'd like you to maintain a positive attitude while you are here and enjoy the place while making it enjoyable for others. Loungin' is different than most forums in that it is a social forum. We allow a wide variety of topics and do not by any means tailor to any particular topic. However, that does not mean that we allow EVERY thread! The primary purpose is discussion, and so any thread that is posted should have something to talk about, something that will allow members to respond to others. If you would like a clear list of what kinds of threads are not allowed, please reference What kinds of threads are not allowed? The atmosphere of the forum is kept laid back, but that doesn't mean we will allow any type of post! Please stay away from using memes or posting picture-only replies. We expect each post to add something useful to the thread. This does not mean that we don't allow pictures or memes in posts, but please do not reply to a thread with a post that consists only of these things. Add your own message to it! If you would like a clear list of what kinds of posts are not allowed, please reference What kinds of posts are not allowed? Additionally, this forum is designed to be PG-13. In general, we do not allow discussions of a sexual nature in this forum, and we prefer that language be kept clean within reason. This includes bathroom discussion - there are much better things to talk about that are more appropriate for the forum! Those are the general rules of the forum! If you have any other questions, the moderators would be happy to talk to you. You can make a post asking your question in the Requests, Feedback and Suggestions thread, or you can privately message a moderator. Any of them would be happy to answer your question!
