Abuse of Moddness - Page 2

Funny thing is I never begged. I got Black & White even though I told the administration that I'd mod it AFTER I got to know the game better. Hell, I hadn't even bought the game! I was nominated for Loungin' mod by Lenia. I asked for QF&S twice (over an extended period of time). I even told Lenia, who was the main mod for QF&S, to take her break. I didn't want her to stick around out of necessity.

You're telling me. That's why I dropped my SA2 mod position, and I'm only going to mod somewhere else if someone really needs me. It's so much work. MOD WANNABES:
You have to realize how much work it takes to become a moderator. When I asked to become one, I had no idea it was so much work. I came in saying "YAY! I'm a mod, and this will be fun!" But it's not all fun. YOu have to deal with troublemakers, and spam, and make sure you make the right decisions, so you don't accidentally hurt someone's feelings. Section 9 can tell you that I was naieve when I first started, but now I'm here to tell you that you need to realize it's responsibility and not fun. You don't need to be a mod to help out, and you can be a big help by reporting trouble when you see it^_^ As for everything else:
We mods should be careful before we post, to make sure we are following the rules. I know I do things I shouldn't sometimes, but I'm slowly straightening out;) Thanks, and keep up the good work, everyone:rainbow:

I gave Black and White to Sea because she knew more about it than I did. As a mod, you have to realize when it's time for you to give up your responsibilities.

i just edited 26 pgs, now i got 0 more....YAY. Trust me Wannabes moderating in not fun. It is a chore, and a select few are kind enough to do that chore. Me for instance, I go to school and get made fun of bye ppl who do not like me b/c im different, then i see my freinds and its kewl then i see more ppl who dont like me, then freinds. then i come home to a ferosious family, whom with i struggle to find peace. And in the mits(sp) of all this i still have to put up with 10 pages added to a thread a day, that i have to go through and edit on a SLOW computer. So you may want to make sure you want RESPONSIBLITY b4 you try to mod.


Not being mean guys, if you want to deal wit ppl who dont read rulez, double post, and get way off topic, then go right ahead, but just be sure its wut YOU want, and not just the ability to "play wit the buttoms". I wish you luck with whichever choice you make MOD hopefulles.

Nah, Maelstrom, you don't complain too much. You just say a whole bunch, that's all.

I know that I am not a mod and I know that this doesnt mainly focus on him but Evil Epyon didnt deserve his spot as mod. I would like it if people went to the Final Fantasy 7 forum and read what I said about him and tell me what you think. Whether I went over the line or not and if I did the right thing or if I was totally wrong on what I said. I want to know what the people think and I hope that the people tell me by e-mail or by posts. Let me know!

You didn't go overboard:) He blew his chance by getting banned. To be a mod, you have to EARN your spot^_^
