The thing that probably ruined my childhood the most was the Ed Edd n Eddy purgatory theory. Its basically a creepypasta that points out that all the kids in the neighborhood are actually dead and living in purgatory between the dead and living world.There are no adults and the whole neighborhood is just one endless summer, and all the kids are just sort of entities wandering around between worlds because they can't grasp the fact that they're dead. The disturbing thing is it actually makes sense, the kids talk about their parents but you never actually see them, and there are no people in the show besides these kids. It's just one endless summer of doing nothing around the hood. And the story pretty much explains how all the kids are from different eras, Rolf=1930's farmer, Ed=1940's, Eddy=1950's poindexter, Nazz=1960's Kevin=1990's.

Holy *bleep*ing shit I just read that creepypasta/theory over again and it makes so much sense. It didn't make me angry or sad... it just made me empty.

Wow that is why I skip over these things lol. Like the one for the Rugrats and Pokemon which I forgot most of actually.
