I downloaded a SNES emulator out of sheer boredom, but the only ROMs I have so far are Chrono Trigger and Super Punch-Out. Which game should I get next?

EVO or something. I forgot what it's called but you get to evolve. You start out as a fish I think and you can "buy" different parts like a better mouth for biting and better fins for swimming and stuff like that.

Oh yea, EVO: Search for Eden.

I know the SNES has tons of little-known gems, especially RPGs.

As long as nobody is actually linking ROMS, it's not a problem Hera. And only Final Fantasy 4-6 are on SNES. The first three are for NES, unless there's a boxset I'm not aware of that's probably only released in Japan.

As for the question, I'd recommend Contra 3. It may be hard as tits, but it's the fun sort of hard where you get a sense of accomplishment from beating the game on the hardest difficulty.

All 3 Donkey Kong Country games, they're the best. Aladdin is awesome, too.

Super Mario All-Stars, Earthbound, Secrets of Evermore, Zombies ate my Neighbor, Super Mario Kart, Sim City, Secrets of Mana.

I haven't played any of the pre-gamecube Metroid games, I really should check some of the SNES ones out.
