A moment in my life that didn't make sense was when I was at a cafe and I went to the front and asked for a Coke and the guy was like 'Can I see some ID please?' and I was like "...For a coke!?" and he was like "Oh, sorry, I thought you said something else. I'll get you a Coke" I was like

So yeah, is there a moment in your life that didn't make sense? If so, post it!

Coke is also a nickname for Cocane. An illegal drug.
In the 1800's Coca-Cola used to be a medicine and they put cocane in it.
Then they found out cocane is bad so they removed the cocane and sold as a soda instead.

I don't think someone at a cafe counter would be willing to serve anyone illicit drugs...?

Okay, I've had a lot of these moments... Here's one

Okay, so I was walking down the road with some of my friends, and it was a Wisconsin backroad, so not driven very much like a city street or anything would be, and this truck just comes driving by way faster than the speed limit and nearly hit one of my friends. Before he did I pulled my friend outta the way and threw my arms up in the air, kind of in disgust with the guy. So the guy sees this, slams the brakes, and turns around and scolds me for being lucky I didn't run into somebody more ornery than him. Okay I'm sure most people would just keep driving no matter how ornery they were, I just don't get it

So once, I walked into the DMV...

Imaginary numbers exist purely for their practicality. If you ever get the chance, take a class on circuit design. Then you'll understand.

I dropped a 50p coin once on the table at school out of boredom, the coin just stood up perfectly still without bouncing. It defied all laws of physics. I couldn't even manage to get the coin to stand without dropping it never mind dropping it and it standing up perfectly without any recoil from the impact of the landing.
