In my honest opinion, no. I would still rate their first three way above the latest two offerings they bestowed on us.

If you've never heard the Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor, I would be suprised. You must hear it.

Also the Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor. Creepy as hell, that one is. It sounds awesome if you play it on a proper pipe organ with a whole lot of stops (instruments, essentially) activated. Unfortunately it seems that's not how it's "meant" to be played so no recording is like that.

I don't really listen to "new" music. I'm a fan of olders stuff. Anything from the early-to-mid 90's and older. I do, however, love Coheed and Cambria. Their music is awesome.

Put it this way, 99.9% of the time, I want to put an axe through my radio. That 0.1% being when some station plays Linkin Park or The Living End.

I listen to rock and roll, from the earliest beginnings with Elvis and such through the 60s, 70s, 80s, and even some of the 90s and 00s. I also listen to some country, mainly that made between the late 1970s and the late 1990s-early 2000s.

In my opinion, which I accept that many may not agree with, today's music is mostly absolute garbage. the few exceptions, mainly bands from the era of music that I enjoy who are still recording, do not add much to the average.

It's pretty rare to find new music that I like nowadays. I was watching MTV the other day and I noticed I only liked one out of like thirty songs on there and it was Alice in Chains, who are still not as good as they were in the 90s. I just dislike rap. It's all they play. It's just the new music that super mainstream. But bands like Radiohead are working hard and it's good and new.

It depends. Pop and Indie is flourishing, as well as metal. However, it brings a tear to my eye that no-one is making good Industrial and EBM anymore.
