	I like the title. Try coaxing those slugs with other food and see if it will draw them away. Like said, slugs and snails hurt plants.

	Okay, thanks for the answers. I'd imagine salt would dehydrate the flower, and I guess shovel smacking would too, so we're going to use coffee grounds and eggshells. Thanks for your help! :] ------------------- LAST.FM

	Salt will pull all the moisture out of the snails and slugs killing them. I doubt salt will have any effect on the plant unless you poured a few pounds of it on each plant.. -------------------
