Sooo, lets get this show on the road indeed.
TIME FOR A CLICHE QUESTION.
I am 16. I am male (YES, MALE, NOT FEMALE :0!), and I live in La Paz, Bolivia.
Holy god a revelation. Yep people Vermillion is a dude. Faint now. Anyway, Bolivia? That's pretty interesting. You like it there?
I like the landscapes and the nature here, but I certainly do not like the people. You know, ever since we got an indian president, all the natives think they are THE awesome thing, and those who are not indians, are getting annoyed.
I've seen pictures of yours, it's quite pretty. So other than apparently photographing lanscape, what do you do in your spare time?
Other than browsing the net, I like to ride my bike. I like to walk to the "commercial centre" listening to my music (4 Kilometers per day, I should be losing weight someday). And finally, I love to play with children when I get the chance. Doesn't matter if it's a little boy that wants to play with a toy sword or a little girl that wants me to put a tutu and dance. I will do it .
Speaking of little children, many people see your banners, avatars, etc. and think "Oh jeez, this guy is a pedophile, pervert" now, while I know that you're not like that, would you like to clear that up with the rest of Neo?
Child molester is more accurate. People think I am going to rape children, I wanna touch children, and god knows what else. Thing is, I like children a lot. I am the kind of people that appreciate all kind of art as long as it doesn't have blood on it. Yes, I like Lolicon, so? That's not going to make me molest children in any way, never. The way I love children is more than I could actually explain with words. I am the kind of people that regardless how much I love my life, I will risk it to save an innocent kid's life.
So it seems like your outlook on life is a lot different from others'. Including my own, however; unlike myself, many do not attempt to understand and accept that some people view things differently. Would you like to attempt to inform those not in the know?
Well of course. First of, I view children as different individuals, while their parents threat them as property. That is something I do not like, the children has his life and he has the way to make his/her own desicions. Secondly, I am constantly fighting the war against stereotypes and I hope I and the people I like win that war. People that are like me are constantly being mistaken for what they do, for who they are, and the people that are like me most of the time have an incredible low level of self-steem, so they are not going to fight, and they are affected by stereotypes and prejudices of these days. Third, I believe in God and I used to be Christian-Catholic, until I saw how everything is a lie and how they try to get what they want. I learned to accept God as in imperfect being. I believe humans need God's help to succeed, but God needs humans' help to succeed as well. I know nothing can be perfect, so I don't give the luxury of thinking God is perfect, or all powerful for that matter.
Let it be known, Andy is a very opinionated person. So enough about that. What kind of music are you listening to these days?
I like everything but these goddamn Latin Cumbias and the freaking Reggeaton that has nothing more than vulgar lyrics :<. I have been listenning to music like Nightwish, Within Temptation, Tristania, Sonata Arctica, the occasional Japanese Music, and a few other ones.
Now here's a question not even I know the answer to, you like sports of any kind?
Sports are not really my thing. I do not enjoy sports in any way. Only in school when I am basically forced to play Volleyball to get my grade in PE class, but that's about it. I may ride my bike a lot, but I don't consider that an sport.
You know, that's one of the reasons I want to have little girls rather than little boys when I grow up. I will be better playing with dolls rather than playing Baseball with a little boy .
I share your sentiments on that issue for sure. >_> Now, the inevitable question calls, how did you find Neo?
I was searching for cheats on 2001. I did the same thing on 2003 (most likely the cheats were for Golden Eye 64 and Zelda 64), later on 2004 I started to look for some FAQs for Golden Sun, and eventually I registered on 2006 because I wanted to submit my cheats for Mario Kart DS.
Interesting. Which leads me to my next question (I'm sure it was expected also) what are your favorite video games/genre of video games?
I like RPGs the most. My least favorite genres are sports and puzzles. My favorite video game would have to be Zelda Ocarina Of Time, as I grew up with that game. But Tales Of The Abyss is the best RPG I have played so far.
RPGs are indeed the greatest. One final thing, shoutouts? ;D
Well, I am glad I have friends that are helping me with everything like Tenshi, Stinging_Bite, The Answer, Virtue, Fluidity, Nagare, Ecto5 and ZL. Though I have to give great thanks for being awesome friends all this time to the aforementioned folks and Chad, Bright Blue Yoshi, Fusion, Gotenks, Jesh, Kokoro, luffyluffy, Naruto Boy, Quierta, Starborn, Twisted, xxKayleexx, Aether, alpha XF, Artificer, Avalith, Sakura-Chan, Bri, Celipink, Child Of Death And D, Chaos, Colt4, Dark Dom, Dragon, Jay Z, Just A Shadow, Kinetic, Kini, Luigi Panache, Makusu, Mastix, mettaur_15, Mew King, Misthram, Oceanic Sun, Sakura, Supa Smurf, sxc_Katee, Tainted, The Lost Soul, Wildhazz, and God knows who I am forgetting... Also I want to give a high five to everyone on the Animal Crossing: Wild World forum, as everyone there is awesome.
Shit, Andy, was that everyone on your friends' list?
Almost everyone ;D.
OH MY GOD, ADD FFXFREAK ON THAT LIST PLZ.
JODH MUST BE ADDED OH GOD.
Wooow, alright, well that's the end of the interview folks. Hope you enjoyed it and all that.

Feb 14, 09 at 9:05pm ^re: Neoseeker Interviews - Vermillion
Rome: So let's start out with our timeless hobby, ASL.
Well, why would move from the richest state with some of the worst schools and go to Missouri?
Well, like you said, the schools are very bad. When I was in 6th grade, I got threatened by some black gangs because of the way I kept my hair. I kept it buzzcutted because when I was little I once got lice and never wanted it again, haha. But they misinterpreted and thought I was trying to be a skinhead. So I became homeschooled. That's only part of the reason for the move. The second was that my older brothers who are 33 and 37 got their jobs transferred to Missouri, so my dad and mom decided to move along with them.
No offense, bro.
On that topic, what are you career aspirations?
But, my career aspirations have varied from time to time. A few years ago I wanted to be an author and volunteer fireman in Montana. Other times I wanted to be a pro-bono lawyer. But now that I've really thought about it, my choice is to go to medical school and become a doctor. My field of choice is still a tossup, but I've narrowed it down to Men's Health or E.R.
Well, what finally landed you on going into the medical field? Is it the money, or do you want to be a good samaritan?
And you seem like such a tough guy on Neoseeker, you little fraud. <3
Speaking of which, how did you come to Neoseeker, and why did you come back?
And what do you mean, come back?
So to summarize, all of my success is really your indirect success?
Mentioning puppet presidents, Bush recently stepped down, and Cheney rolled out. Now you are a part of a generation that got to see a [half] black man raised by white people become president, whose personal religion is about as baffling as his racial identity. Are you proud of this, or did you prefer Colin Mochrie to Wayne Brady?
You're happy with the overall turnout, but I'm guessing you were disappointed when Missouri, a swing state, finally tilted to McCain. Are you at all surprised of this?
Yes, it's fun to ask.
Do you think you have a shot at her, or do you expect a difficult path ahead?
Good luck, nonetheless. So we've covered many things. Anything else you'd like to say?
Well, actually. I've got one thing to say.
Except Idaho. *bleep* Idaho.
Now, are there any shoutouts to the worthy?
But thanks for telling us about yourself.

Katsumi: Let's start the Interview :3
The Answer: Alright, but first of all I have to shower. brb ;1;
Katsumi: WUT!...How long are your showers? .__.
*10 minutes later*
The Answer: Doooone ;D
Kastumi: K LETS START
The Answer: From now we type like human beings
Katsumi: Alright, haha.
Let's start the interview...
Katsumi sent a nudge.
Sorry. Interview starts right now.
The Answer » Alright, let's get cracking with the ever-so-cliche internet predator's question: Age/Sex/Location?
Also, from your last line, I assume you have some family quarrels now and then, huh? Well, that's to be expected from teenagers, heh.
So you like skiing? Would that count as one of your hobbies? Regardless of your response, what are your hobbies? Any stuff you do on your free time, stuff like that.
Wow, I'm so sorry about that. That honestly sucks, really. However, stay strong. I believe you can get past all that. Anyways, enough about that if you don't want to keep talking about it.
I'm sure some people might wonder. What stuff do you do as a Muslim? I guess it would be rare, but have you been prejudiced before for your religion?
Haha, people are so funny like that. It's really ridiculous when people have to segregate themselves because of religious differences.
Anyways, what stuff are you doing right now? Did you enjoy new year's eve? And what'd you do for Christmas?
Good luck becoming a mod, then. I'm sure if you work hard enough you'll get noticed someday.
And finally, to end this interview, any shout-outs you'd like to give?

Hybrid Harpuia Well then, let's start off the way every other interviewer has: A/S/L?
Samus: I saw that coming a mile off. Ok then, I'm almost 14, female and living in the UK, England to be exact.
Hybrid Harpuia England eh? Whereabouts in England, if you don't mind.
Samus: Yes I do mind, I have enough stalkers as it is :thick: I'll say Southern England though. And if you stalk me enough, you'll find out what County.
Hybrid Harpuia Oh damn. ;_;
Is there anywhere else you would rather be instead of England?
Samus: Well, to be honest, not really.
I enjoy going on holiday, but my heart’s in England.
I enjoyed Canada lot's when I went there though.
Hybrid Harpuia Canada? Gagh, I hate it here. Too cold. What is it you like about Canada?
Samus: Went there a couple of years ago, I loved it so much. I went to Toronto, by the way.
Hybrid Harpuia Why Canada? Did you parents randomly choose it or something like that?
Samus: I was bored of going to somewhere in Europe every single year for my Summer Holidays, so I suggested Canada. Turned out we had enough money to go. It was my favourite holiday, everything was perfect :3
Hybrid Harpuia I really can't see why you like it here >_>
So what kind of hobbies do you have, what do you do in your spare time?
Samus: I have quite a few hobbies actually.
First is singing, I sing ALL the time, have lessons, go to choir, and I've sang at various places.
Also I love photography, it's a really serious hobby of mine. I take pictures of pretty much everything, and got a nice expensive camera for Christmas %)
I also love drawing, not much to say on that one.
And of course I love playing videogames. Nintendo, really :3
Hybrid Harpuia Photography? I don't really know many people who dov that. What got you so interested in it?
Samus: Photography? Gee, i'm not sure. I had my eighth birthday at a zoo and took pictures of loads of the animals, it kind of grew from there.
Hybrid Harpuia I half-expected you to be inspired by something.
So, what kinds of movies do you like and why?
Samus: Haha, movies. When it comes to movies (or games. Or books. Or songs. Or pretty much anything) with a emotional/touching bit, I cry :whatever:
I'm going to be honest: for me, you just CANNOT beat the Disney classics. I also love pretty much anything and everything Pixar, Wall-E is a personal favourite.
I also enjoy things like Hairspray and other Musicals.
Oh, and the Nightmare Before Christmas. Love that.
I HATE horror/suspense movies. A good Romance Comedy will do me fine.
I'm actually quite soft on the inside :Z
Hybrid Harpuia You? Soft? Noooo...
So, what sort of career are you aiming for?
Samus: A journalist would be kickass. I also forgot to mention that I love writing.
Or a singer :P
Hybrid Harpuia Of course.
So what's your school like? Is there anything it specializes in?
Samus: My school is an arts school that doesn't mean you have to be good at art
We also specialize in languages that doesn't mean you have to be good at languages :Z, we all have one main language that we study (French or German) and then another optional one that you can give up after Year 9 (Generally French or Latin).
Also I'm going to ignore the stalker aspect to that question.
Hybrid Harpuia o.O Stalker aspect?
When you say generally French or Latin, do you mean there's other languages that can be learned, besides those two and German?
Samus: All the sudden questions about my school...?
Anyway, the year is split into two. One half of the year do French and the other half do German. I'm in the German half. We study French/German every year. Then in year 8 we get to do a second language, either Latin or the language we're not already studying, for me that would be French.
Hybrid Harpuia So, in a completely non-stalker related topic, how'd you find out about Neo?
Samus: Join the queue, I have about five stalkers.
Ok, how I found out about Neo? I had just bought MySims with the last scratches of my Christmas money and I was looking up tips and tricks and whatnot. So I blame MySims for dragging me here. Curse you, EA!
Hybrid Harpuia I've personally never been a big fan of EA.
So, I won't assume MySims is your favourite game. What is?
Samus: I like the Sims, not much else.
Favourite game? You have to be kidding. Obviously something Nintendo-Related, maybe a Mario or Zelda game? Wow, there's so many. I can't pick one :whatever:
Hybrid Harpuia Judging from you current avatar, I'll say Zelda :_oops:
So I'm sure many of us have seen you around Loungin', would you say it's for favourite thread, or another?
Samus: Yeah, Zelda's one of my favourites, but there are so many ;-; I dunno, Pokemon Gold :_oops:
I know alot of people from Loungin' actually. I browse through here all of the time.
And it's definitely the place I come most often, but HECK NO, it's not a favourite forum. This place is a shithole :notamused: No offense, peeps.
Hybrid Harpuia Won't all these regulars be happy to see that?
So, before you hold this against me by the end of the interview, what was it like when you...won that...name change ¬_¬
Samus: Ohohoho, that name change :3
I'll just explain to the readers; me and Soren were competing for a name change. I won. Now I rub it in everywhere
Ok; so that name change. I never expected to win it, I just thought I'd give it a go. Then I logged on Boxing Day, my name was there, being annouced as the winner. I've gotten over it now though
Also, my last name was Abi The Hedgehog
Hybrid Harpuia Yes, literally everywhere we meet ¬¬.
So, if I may ask, why Samus, as opposed to something a little...better, in my opinion?
Samus: Because Samus rocks. She really does.
I love her. There is no one else I'd rather be named after.
Hybrid Harpuia Phantom >>
So is there anyone on Neoseeker you're close to?
Samus: So, I guess we got to the shout out bit.
Medi and Billie come first, My Welsh girls :3
Now, in no particular order, Dramon Knight, Disillusioned, Tallulah, Starlety and Shortman and Dark Arcanine all rock. Those are my best buddies here. Pretty sure I haven't missed anyone out. Nope, no one at all :)
Hybrid Harpuia Well then, I guess this concludes the interview. Anything else you would like to say?
Samus: Peace Out.
Also I can't believe you didn't pick up on the fact that I deliberately missed you out on the awesome list :<
Hybrid Harpuia Oh I did. I just wanted to bottle it inside to scream at you at a later time. :)

Mar 8, 09 at 4:36pm ^re: Neoseeker Interviews - Samus
A lot of you know him, and a lot of you don't. Which is a pity, but today you're in luck because you're about to meet the talented, amazing, and sexy Jake. Enjoy.
ZL: Jake, I know you pretty well but for the sake of all the unfortunates out there, give us a brief simple introduction about yourself. Include all the good details for all the ladies out there.
Synik: Kidding about that last part of course.
ZL: Oh we all are. But I see you're a graphics designer like myself, except you're actually doing something about it. You also mentioned that you're a natural born artist, care to elaborate on that?
As I grew older I slowly ascended through other mediums while in school, and by the time I got to high school, I was already far too infatuated with graphic design. I picked up Photoshop from a fairly young age, and to this day I still love creating shit out of sheer boredom just to scratch a certain "itch" that pops up whenever creativity sparks.
ZL: I have a feeling that we're pretty similar because I too loved to draw when I was a kid, but for some reason I stopped. What actually kept you going? Because I know for a fact that there are a lot of people that have a passion for something, but eventually the passion dies out from certain events, so what kept you going?
You're right about losing interest though, as I rarely have the urge to sketch nowadays, and the only aspect of drawing with pencil and paper I even delve in are triangles on my college algebra homework.
ZL: Hahaha, don't even bring algebra here. We all know what that's like. Anyways, that's interesting, I guess I should find some sort of motivation to keep me going, too bad it's not going to happen soon right now. But, now that you mentioned one of your classes in college, how is college treating you? Any things you want to mention about it?
Synik: It's one hell of a time, I can say that. Too much of a roller coaster ride, even. Sometimes I go days without eating just because I have no time due to deadlines, having to be in certain locations at set times, class, work and whatnot. The all nighters are a blast as well, and happen all too often, but that's just generally because of my pathetic time management skills. The gen-ed courses such as Math, English, Biology and other high school review courses are an utter joke, however all of the courses that pertain to my major usually require carrying about 300+ pounds of video equipment. It really *bleep*ing blows. You have your field monitors, cameras, lighting kits, audio equipment, a *bleep*-ton of wires and other gadgets that are meant to make your life easier but in the end they just end up being in the way.
On the plus side, you do meet a lot of awesome people and the heavy amounts of equipment usually means all assignments are carried out in groups, which is less work in the long run, and it helps me keep into shape a bit. I love college though, even with the massive overload of work. You get to meet some pretty famous people whilst interviewing them for internships, or just other BS homework assignments, that you wouldn't get a chance to meet in your everyday situations.
ZL: I see, it really seems like a pain in the ass but worth it in the end. I'm sure there are many seekers like myself that are willing to further their education (really just have sex with college girls, smoke and drink), and some of us are even about to enter that phase in our lives, do you have any tips for them?
Synik: And the blonds suck a lot better than the brunettes, from what I've felt so far, they are usually the better choice.
ZL: Haha that's some advice we'll all take to heart.
ZL: Well, besides your passion for graphics designing, is there any other hobbies you have or any other stuff you're interested in?
I also love tattoo's and everything about them. Designing them, getting them, watching people get them. It's just a weird fascination I have with the thought of being permanently marked by something that is so meaningful to you, that it can never come off. It's clearly not for everyone, and a lot of people don't understand why some people would ever put themselves through that sort of experience, and that's understandable. It's almost like a self test one must pass. The feeling you get when that needle punctures your skin is enrapturing. It's like having the best sex of your life while on ecstasy. Complete euphoria for a few seconds, and just as that feeling leaves you, you suddenly want more. Then after the whole thing is said and done, you can't help but appreciate it even more, especially if it hurt like a mother*bleep*er. So ya, music and tattoo's are a very big part of my life.
ZL: That's some deep stuff right there and I gotta tell you that I both love music and tattoos. I don't think I love music that much because I can't be arsed to spend that much money on a guitar and an amp, but I did have enough to purchase Rockband and just rock out. It's enough for right now. As for tattoos, I haven't had one, but I can definitely understand what you're saying. I'm really planning on getting one myself and I think I might end up drawing it. I don't know if some of the guys that are reading this have seen your tattoos, but I'm definitely interested in the designs that you chose. Seriously, show us the tattoos (in color mind you) and tell us a little bit about it, why did you choose that and so on?
Well all my tattoo's are religious, and the reason for that is because I've gone through a lot of shit in my life that when I take the time to look back and reflect, I realize just how *bleep*ing lucky I really am. This being born and raised in a communist nation (Romania), my dad took the first opportunity he could to take my mom and I out of there and moved to the States when I was about 8. We were technically labeled as "deserters" at the time, due to political turmoil with a certain dictator, and were they to catch us, chances are we would have been pretty *bleep*ed. Regardless, thinking back how we had nothing, and now looking at the present where I have virtually everything I crave and want, I'd like to believe that there really is something or someone up there.
"It's *bleep*ed up ain't it How we can come from practically nothing to being able to have any *bleep*in' thing that we wanted" - Props to anyone who can understand that quote. It basically sums up my life.
ZL: Let me interrupt you for a minute and say that I can't wait till the day you *bleep* up and everything you had is gone and I'll come up and say "Where's your God now?" Haha. Cruel, but I'd totally do it and you'd love me for it.
ZL: I'd feel honored. Continue.
Da Vinci actually played a very large role on influence in my design for this, which is why I many mathematical equations all up and down the arm as well. They are all his as well, and some I found really neat such as "r of HOPE = cos/SIN" which is an obvious play on words, and I'm a big fan of that if you can't already tell. I've always been a math guru ever since I was really young as well. Group all those elements with Davinci being one of my heroes, and you have yourself the perfect formula for a sleeve, haha.
ZL: Damn I'm really digging the meaning behind your tattoos, I wish I had them on me. They'd probably look better on me, but too bad I won't be able to tell the stories like you can. Alright, so as much as I'm interested in your tattoos, we have to move on. This is were we might get a little controversial here, so any kiddies out there, please be aware of what you're about to read. Alright Jake, one word, Weed. Go.
Synik: Oh God, where do I even *bleep*ing begin? It's my cotton candy.
ZL: Tell us why man, I know you're living proof of how it can hardly affect you.
Every person in the world needs to watch at least one full episode of South Park completely blazed, and then attempt to admit that they didn't enjoy themselves. But hey sure, people can be judgmental, ignorant or downright stupid and hate on it because it's illegal. I guess I should stick to cigarettes and alcohol which are very much more legal, and will kill you faster than weed ever will. It's good to know that you can die legally, yet in that same retrospect getting blasted out of your *bleep*ing mind, which is arguably much less harmful, is of course, illegal.
To the under aged preteens that think people blaze just be hardcore, you're morons, and to those that live a sheltered life and think all drugs are automatically evil, watch Pinneapple Express. This shit is the bee's needs. Everyone needs to have it.
ZL: I completely agree. First time I had weed, I was blown out of my mind! Everything was just gone, all my problems, stress, EVERYTHING! The best part, I was with my girlfriend at the time smoking that joint, and afterwards we had sex. Best experience ever. Life cannot get better than that.
Synik: So much more vivid and intense. It's jawesome.
ZL: Haha alright, but I don't think I'm ready for something like that yet, baby steps here man. You too people. Alright, you mentioned Pineapple Express and I gotta ask, who do you think had the best performance in that movie? I put $20 on James Franco, and if you disagree we're not continuing this interview. Haha.
ZL: That is true, I really thought he was going to die, but I knew that they don't put any dead characters on the big movie posters, so that threw me off. I agree that he was great in Tropic Thunder, love that movie, is there any other movies that you enjoy watching 24/7 like I sometimes do myself?
ZL: I have not seen Boondock Saints, Old School, or Anchorman, but I can tell you that everyone else is a top notch movie right there. Good list. And Ben Stiller, great actor, really enjoyed him in Tropic Thunder, hilarious. I gotta say though, that my actor is, Morgan Freeman.
Alright, so we know you have a passion for your creativity, you love music, you're into tattoos more than the next mother*bleep*er, and you love weed like you love your lover. So tell me, what other traits do you have the separates you from everyone else out there in the world?
ZL: But hah, I'm taller than you by one inch. I think I can overpower you in strength and maybe smarts (doubt it). But now you opened a completely new chapter for us to focus on, High School. Haha, you gotta tell us about that. I know you told us about college and how you're this complete badass college student struggling to do his work, but tell us about High School, where you getting all the ladies?
I was also the biggest slacker in high school, haha. Four years, and I don't think I did my homework at home, the way it was supposed to be done, once. Always in other classes, or study hall, or I'd come up with some bullshit excuse that bought me more time to do it. And I still wouldn't get it done sometimes. I loved to procrastinate, so that usually hurt my homework/participation in all areas, but I always scored within the top 3 highest grades on nearly every test and shit. I graduated with a 3.7 GPA, and ranked about 30/612 seniors or some stupid number like that out of my graduating class.
- But Jake, you said you're a procrastinator and slacked?
I also went to class completely baked. And while baked, guess what I did? I sat there and listened. Not only did I listen, most of the time I also retained the full lectures. Concentrating was a piece of cake, and pile that on top of a half of page of notes and some random doodles, and I'm good to go. Give me that over reading a chapter over and over, and stressing about noting every word down, and you in fact get nowhere.
Ladies? Oh man. Throughout my 4 years in high school I think I've accumulated about 3 relationships, and I cared about each girl very much, but shit just didn't work out in the end. I'm sure I could have had more opportunities, but I wanted a little bit more than your predictable high school drama fest, so a lot of the girls I could have had, really weren't worth my time. I did get a chance with the 3 I set my eyes on, and in my book it beats quantity.
ZL: Alright moving on, that's awfully sweet of you that you had at least 3 girls and you felt something for them, but is there a lucky lady right now?
ZL: Aww, looks like you're a little too busy for the ladies and I see you prefer to stay in pimp mode. Haha.
ZL: That's all nice, and although I'd love to continue asking you questions because you're so damn interesting and entertaining than all those seekers out there (except maybe Angie(kiss ass)), I rather keep you mysterious for now and wrap this baby up. Are there any last words you'd like to say?
And of course sending some love to people that actually made any sort of impact in my life from this website, be it big or small: Dave, 8 ball, Teppic, Raz, 6th, Aphex, Requiem, volacide, Weapon, silver tidus, deeplove, Vegitax2, shatter, splatter, Avalith and to all my homies in the [G&A Forum] and on MSN, that I forgot to list.

Hi guys. We are going to skip a new interview this week, meanwhile, I will be checking upon the long-pending interviews to check up their status' (and which I will have to cross off), as well as eventually updating the index and tying other loose ends.
So, cheers until this upcoming Saturday.

The interview index is finally updated.
As well, I have notified everyone on the pending interview list who have been on there for a significant amount of time without sending in an interview. If you thought you were on that list and did not receive a PM, you can PM me the why can be investigated.
A new interview will be posted tonight.

Since Neoseeker was down for the majority of the day today, I ended up getting caught up in others things and thus did not post tonight. I don't want to post this late either, and I'll be gone most of the day tomorrow, so..expect it tomorrow night now. Haha.

Greetings Loungin', I am here to conduct an interview with Loki. The both of us appear to have had most of our recent activity localized in the Official Neoseeker IRC Chatroom, which is a definite sub-culture to the Neoseeker community all in its own. Good for us, yes, but this no doubt makes matters a bit mysterious for everyone else never to have ventured out of the forums for very long. In that case, who better for an interview?
So, Loki, a good first question asides from the typical a/s/l (still mandatory in this interview, mind you), would be your history on the site itself. If I'm to understand, you've had roughly four name changes since you began frequenting IRC, a few of which I know to have carried over to the forums. Maybe you want to overtake Mandos in official name changes, or maybe you are sympathetic to the finances of Neo Era. Either way, what various names have you been known as over the years here? And what were the reasons for all these changes?
Er, I've had six different names on neoseeker: Jem, Kloi, Erection (Oz banned that one ), Spkl, llll, and this one. Neoseeker didn't actually profit at all off of me, I just created new accounts. I would just get tired of a name, and make a new one I liked.
Also, because you said a/s/l I figure I should go ahead and answer that too: 17, male, massachusetts.
I can only assume that Oz didn't want that Erection turning up in the wrong place (no anal), at the very least the issue seems to be resolved.
It's been a long time since I've been 17, what is it like being that old in Massachusetts? Do you have a paying occupation? Are there any special local nuances that could be noted in the state?
Currently I do not have a job; I had an awesome one this summer working in the IT department of a college near here, but it was too far away to get there during the school year.
I'm currently making my way through school, and trying not to notice how boring and mundane it is. I don't think massachusetts has any real unique qualities to it asides from an overwhelmingly liberal skew.
So I take it that being in high school, you can't quite fit in a job? Or maybe you value your free time? And on the topic of your previous summer job, were the requirements for working at a school of higher education difficult to reach?
I probably could find a job, but it would most likely be bagging groceries or whatnot, and I would be bored out of my mind. As for my summer job, it didn't really have any strenuous requirements seeing as it was an internship.
It's all experience I guess.
Moving onto IRC, how would you describe the appeal to that place? Why do you believe that you, myself, and others idle there for a large percentage of the day (mine not quite meeting 100% due to the usual connection trouble)?
I'm not really sure what the general appeal is, but it is a nice laid back atmosphere, and once you get pass the hazing a nice group of people (with a few exceptions. Hi Jambo) I think the reason I go on irc so much is because you guys are like my only friends. Just kidding, I actually have a dog too.
Well, if your internet connection is anything like mine, it tends to disconnect now and then. What are some of your offline computer-related occupations?
My internet connection is actually fairly stable, but nice try with the segue there. As for the actual question, I spend a good chunk of time playing video games, reading, and watching tv. This may not sound all that social, but I play MMO's and the friends in my head talk to me while I watch television or read.
Lately I have been playing a lot of indie games; they are usually more original than most and also on the cheap (or free) side.
In terms of tv I watch some science fiction and a good amount of odd comedy. (I'm going to see tim and eric live in january, should be pretty awesome.) My favorite shows are Monty python's flying circus, arrested development, and Neon Genesis evangelion (The psychosis makes me happy).
I read mostly science fiction and fantasy, and overall Isaac Asimov is my favorite author, followed closely by Frank Herbert.
Hazzy: Aren’t you the freshest? Heh. Well now I’ll be asking you the remaining questions, I hope you don’t mind. I’ll just place this recorder right here. Science-fiction books are nice indeed. And I hear often good things about Taxachusetts.
Tell us, how's your love life going? Got any belles in sight? Or already got one?
Loki: Don't badmouth Massachusetts, at least I don't live in Canada.
In terms of a love life, mine is fairly nonexistent. I could add more, but I think I will leave it at that.
Hazzy: "At least I don't"-- okay. okay. Aight. Wanna play this game.
Anyway, what about sports? What do you watch? What do you play? Any strong interests in sports at all?
Loki: Of course I insulted you back; you live with the mounties, which effectively limits any insult you make based on location.
As for the actual question, no on all counts. I have played sports before, but all of the organized sports at my school require more time than I am willing to give up. As for watching sports, I've never gotten the fun of watching other people play games and most sports are really slow, so watching them is not a frequent event for me. I will watch basketball on occasion, but that's about it.
Moderately irrelevant, but I am badass at ping pong.
Basketball on occasion, well I'm glad for that. Celtics been doing great last year.. those mother*bleep*ers.
Ping pong? What about tennis, no? Haha. What are you thinking about doing when you're older? Any profession in mind?
Loki: I'm thinking about something computery, but I don't have anything definite in mind. I'm starting to look at colleges, which is a real headache.
Hazzy: Sounds great. Least you got somewhat of a path. Tell me, what is your favorite video game?
Loki: My favorite game is probably N, because it is insanely pretty, and you get to be a god damn ninja. (N+ is the commercial version, the free one is for pc.) I don't necessarily consider it the best game, but I have logged an insane amount of time playing it. Nothing like 500 levels of mind numbingly difficult platforming. (In a good way.)
Hazzy: N. Sounds like a nifty title. So any anecdotes you feel like sharing to the Loungin' community, anything during your life which was an unusual or funny moment.. or depressing.
Loki: well one day I was running in the woods, and I had a cold, so my nose was kinda runny, which I thought was pretty funny, but itsnot.
I'm sorry, that was a horrible pun.
I don't have any awesomesauce stories, sorry to say.
Hazzy: What. Don't tell me you've had such a boring or mundane life so far, surely you must've done something!
Hazzy: Lol. So how's the IRC community going? I haven't been there in ages, I'll have a look-see every two weeks or so. Any special moments in there you like to share? (And if you don't got any, I will stab you repeatedly.)
The best thing recently is that Q22 went all pedo on a little girl in the chats. He says it was an accident, but I know better.
Hazzy: Favorite food?
Loki: I don't really have a single favorite food, but right now I'm really craving bibimbap.
Hazzy: Looks quite tasty. Hmm. What is your native origin?
Loki: European, various parts.
Hazzy: Can't be a bit more precise?
Loki: Mainly english and lithuanian jew, with a smattering of stuff i can't remember. seriously though, why are you asking?
Hazzy: Just gathering info, bruh.
So! We've heard your thoughts about IRC; let's move onto Loungin'. What are your thoughts on this forum, as you're quite the active poster in here as well? Any improvements you notice about it these days? Still a few issues?
While the details change, loungin overall still seems essentially the same as always. Granted, there are definitely some differences, but nothing that redefines loungin as an entity.
Hazzy: mm. How about the Loungin' mods? Got a new few guys entering lately, what are your thoughts on the mods' job in general?
They do a good job of retaining order without making any insanely restrictive rules or letting the power go to their heads. And on a personal level, none of them are arses, which is nice.
Hazzy: Ladies and gentlemen, if you see a mod edit tag at the end of this interview, well..
Hey, before we end this, favorite movie?
Loki: Probably blade runner, although that's not set in stone. The book that it's based on is pretty awesome too.
Hazzy: Cool stuff. So to end, any shout-outs you wanna hand out? I have an idea already, but...
Loki: First off to you and rockhole, for the interview. Also: Mojo, Flakes, Torm, Klope, M, Lone, ak, rh, aki, angyles, zesty, bee, PH, shinra, excalibur, catclone, UW and force (in no particular order) and to the people who I inevitably forgot to mention that I actually like.
Oh yeah, also people at IRP, they're kinda cool in a really gay way.
sorry for the abundance of names, but I had to include them all, for varying reasons.
