Study Methods

So I have a Federal Government exam in about six hours, and like always, I have THE hardest time studying.

I procrastinate like there's no tomorrow, and finally when I finally start reading, I daydream while doing so and then have to read the entire page all over because I have no idea what I just read.

Anyway, I recently took my book into the bathroom with me and noticed I was in there a whole hour and read two chapters. Kinda weird, but I'll probably give this a try another day.

Point is: What study methods do you guys use before an exam? What helps you guys remember the material? Any secrets you wanna share with your neofriends?

First of all, the worst thing you could do is have your computer on. (though that's near impossible for me)

Finding a quiet place is the most important part of studying tbh.

Study during a time of complete silence in the room/house. Easy to focus for some, however for my friends, it's hard because they need something to annoy them to keep them focused on their work. Funny, really. It's the complete opposite for me. Although, I sometimes listen to some music, which most of the time is some type of rock.

Depends what type of learner you are. Different methods are better suited to different types of learners, so it's rather difficult to answer your question specifically without further details.

Lol, I have a Chemistry test tomorrow about Nonclemature and Structural Formule, and Reactions of Carbon Compounds... the best thing I can say is read a textbook or something WHILST DOING A CRAP.

Trust me, it's very relaxing.
