The AIDS treatment will probably be too expensive to eliminate AIDS mortality in third world countries, where most deaths take place. 2. I doubt cancer will ever be cured, it's way more complex than AIDS given its huge diversity. 	You also have to have the same blood type of bone marrow as you have. That man was lucky enough to have the resistant bone marrow of his type.
