No, but you could mount them in a steel Bracket in the chain links. It would effectively add another layer of protection to the chain mail if done properly. Of course if done poorly or wrong it would just add addition vulnerability to the suit. Ultimately though the high cost and rarity of dismond would make it expensive and pointless. You could easily achieve effective protection much cheaper.

Its not a movie reference, James Bond movies have a tendency to take old sayings and put them in the title. for example, Live and Let Die replaced "Live" with "Die". originally its "Live and let live". And "For your eyes only" is a term strippers use to let people know that they cant touch.
