I'm sure most people fail test because they cannot obey rules. Not because of their transmission. That's hardly manual. If anything, a lazy mans manual (or manual for an idiot who can't operate a clutch). My grandma's Saturn Vue has that, which is the first vehicle I saw it on, and I think it's stupid. It's not even really manual at all. There's no clutch. But I agree about the rules breaking as failing though. It's good enough for me. I can drive a proper manual with a clutch. Its not very hard. But for day to day driving auto is so much better. If I end up on a windy country road I can choose to shift gears myself. just without a clutch. I don't think I would every buy a daily drive as a manual. Manuals in new cars are fading away anyway. Don't worry pal I bet he doesn't even know that you go change gear without even using the clutch on a manual. -------------------

	I almost failed my first driving test (years ago) because I was too cautious. I also put my seat a little too far back, and the instructor was like, "pull your seat back up; this isn't boyz 'n the hood." Ouch!
