Wierdest reasons to call the cops

Was there ever a time in your life, when someone called the cops and you literally laughed at how pathetic your "crime" was. This week it happend two times. I was simply outside for a stroll at around 9pm, when a neighbour of mine was putting out some decent furniture. I went to inspect it. I didn't like it, i mostly just like to check them out. Anyways when i left, shortly i heard a shout that she was going to call the cops. I turned back and she started to tell me that I went on her property (which i did not) and i touched her property (which i have every right to, as it is her garbage.)

The day after a friend of mine pushes me onto the road and a car, which is not even close to me stops. She decides to call the cops because I intentionally wanted to crash into her. Dumb bitch!

I remember hearing a story a year or two back where a woman called 911 ((An emergency number here in Claifornia)) because a local Burger King would not sell her a hamburger they do not make. She sat in the drive thru and argued with the person working there, and then preceeded to call 911 and argue with the police dispatcher.

No one called the cops during this incident, but it was a pretty stupid reason to investigate none the less. I was out one night with some mates (no alcohol involved by the way) and I was simply using a pay phone to call someone to pick us up, yet the cops suddenly appear with their sirens blurting, apparently thinking we're making prank calls. What do they think pay phones are there for...

I once heard about a woman who called the police because there was a spider in her home, and she was to afraid to catch it, so she called them to do it. =]

I read once that a welsh woman phones the police because she saw something in the air and it was stationary for about an hour guess what it was, the moon.

I also read that someone phoned the police to get help on voting for Ray in the X factor

And someone phoned for a pound for a pound trolley.

My friend was once standing across the road from a woman's house, waiting on his mate and the woman called the cops because she assumed he was waiting for her to come out and attack her, so the police came and asked him what he was doing, he said "I'm waiting on my mates" so they went "okay see you later" and gave the woman a row for wasting police time.

On the news once it said a woman phoned the police to ask for directions to homebase.

It's not quite the cops, but today a kid in my class cried and told on my friend and I because we didn't like Halo 3. The worst part of it is that we are sophomores.
