Corruption. It's what can consume us and turn us into beings that others hate, despise, and suffer over.
Some say that people can be born corrupted, while others say that corruption can be forced upon an individual disregarding how pure the individual is.
Corruption is like a disease. Once an individual is corrupted, he can affect those around him, and cause pain throughout; whether it be physical or emotional.
When does corruption first appear to consume an individual? In other words, what exactly is the first step to corruption? Is there a way to retain ourselves from taking this first step, or is it inevitable?
Shall it be the first time an individual takes another's gift of life? Or shall it be the first time the individual wishes another in suffering?
Are we all corrupted, just at different levels? Or is there a certain "point of no return" that an individual can cross to assume corruption?
There are so many questions that emerge from "corruption." Discuss your opinions about it.
True, but Intellectual Exchanges is usually empty. I would much rather get the opinions from a bigger community; one that's non-biased and much more anonymous.
Everyone can be bought. Whether it's offering you money or not killing your family, we all have our limits. Looking at it from this perspective I'd say everybody is corrupt at different levels.

It's not empty.
The first stage of corruption is temptation, I would say. Once people are corrupt, though, it does seem like they could not possibly go back.
Everybody can be bought. Some way or another. Just look at Corrupt Cops. Who beat the shit out of people just because they have a badge. Or when they take bribes from Drug Dealers or Gangsters.
There's an old Italian saying that once a cop crosses over into "Our Thing" he's no longer a cop, and anything goes. Even though former cops could never become Mobsters. That, is true corruption to me.
I'd personally like to believe that anybody can come back from corruption. That if they truly wanted to, they would try redeem themselves or make themselves better people. *idealistically*
Well if the corrupt person gets in trouble for it. They will surely stop. I mean look at corrupt cops who lets say, deal drugs? They are gonna go to jail and hopefully they will stop. Once again though. *idealistically*
