Once again, I never assumed, or stated that you were attempting to "hide" the thread, rather about the questionable and innapropriate nature of the thread.

Questionable, considering the last page or so of debate, sure, and I see where you're coming from on that. If I hadn't seen it done in the first place, I guarantee I wouldn't have done it myself.

Could you perhaps provide a link to where this happened? Or at least other evidence, where we can take a look at the situation? I've had no clue of this, and hardly think it was ever intended to be serious. If you take a look around, you can always see moderators warning people for fun. For instance, ZL actually went and banned several General Discussion regulars in the other forum he moderates simply for a good April Fool's joke.

And I believe when you say if you hadn't seen it done in the first place, you would not have created the thread, but monkey see, monkey do? It doesn't justify the threads creation.

Erm, of course not. But we wouldn't just create a campaign thread in Graphics & Animation and expect the mods to let it go. Obviously, we had to get it approved, just as this had to be approved by the Loungin' team before the elections could be initiated.

Then if you were all for approval by the respective authorities, why did you not, when knowing of the rule, ask ryancola for permission?

There's a certain candidate I've been asked to address, so, Rome, this one's for you buddy.

The choice between the candidates of Fifth Column and Rome is a lot like the choice between Barack and Hillary in real life. While I'm not half black, I'm still here to promote change, power to the people, and a unique, successful new vision of this craphouse called Neoseeker. And then we have "Hillary" - an egotistical woman who is basically the same carbon copy of every other garbage Democrat we've seen since this country's inception in woman form. And while Rome isn't a woman, he sure acts like one.
