Although, you didn't solve it, because its impossible. You can't trace down any lines you've already drawn, remember.

The puzzle has no solution; your teacher told you to start by drawing the square and the diagonals so you'd realize that it was impossible to solve, since drawing the square with its diagonals is impossible without going past a line more than once (or without thinking 'out of the box' like the geniuses that posted before me).

The Bo with the X inside it is as far as I can get without cheating, I've done an other puzzle like this that is possible that looks like the box with the X in the middle except for there is a triangle at the top.
