Hiya, dont know if you have got an answer yet, but the banners come up silver if you lose at least one game to any of your opponents during the singles matches. To get the gold banner you have to win your single games 6-0, (or however many games have to be played etc, ie 3-0, blah.)
Further to this, if you win 6-0 and so on you also get or win a special raquet for your troubles,(I dont know for sure if this rule applies in doubles matches) hope this helps.
