re: What is you greatest acompishment on cm 01/02

I have three. All these are on diffrent games

I've managed barcelona for 9 seasons and won the league each time. plus four champions leagues and four cups.

I took barnet to the facup semi-final. We lost to Everton 0-1. Along the way i beat leeds away 3-2 and chelsea 4-2.

I've won fifteen trophies in 5 seasons as arsenal manager. I've lost just 9 games in the league and scored an average of 96 goals a season.

I'm a manager of yeovil town a conference club =). I got them to a premiership in 2006/07 season. In this year I've finished 12th, in second season 5th + won FA cup and in third season finished 2nd behind chelsea on three points...

Also I think what you people are talking that you signed vieri shevchenko bla bla is stupid. This are top players who are worth a fortune + they won't be happy gettin 20 000 pounds per week. For my team total wage bill for squad is 425 000 p/w, while arsenal finished last season 13th and have 825 000 p/w.

re: What is you greatest acompishment on cm 01/02

I have Footie Manager 08 and Champ 07, but i really prefer Champ 01/02 season, it is by far the best of them all

and id also have to say MY greatest achievement would be, getting Dag & red into Division one, after Five years, winning the FA Trophy in my first two seasons and also reaching the FA Cup Semi-finals whilst in Div 3

little things i achieved were also, Manager of the Year three times, having a first choice Midfield consisting of on Loan, ex-premiership youngsters and also, an achievement in itself, considering i started off unknown at Dag & red, i was accepted for the Aston Villa Job after 5 years with Dagenham.

re: What is you greatest acompishment on cm 01/02

Ok so most of you go for the big guns and win a shit load of everything, well I guess it's everyone to their own, I picked my beloved Everton, and hoped just to stay up, I first began playing this when it first came out, well my first time playing I finished 7th in the league then 4th(on goals scored and qualified for Champs league pipping Liverpool) in my second season winning the F.A cup too, remember Everton start off with 375k to spend and 30million in debt with a really average team although many teams get taken over (like Forest and Sheff Wed I never did) I had to rely on free transfers and selling my best players when the board got a good offer. I also never went on the forums to check out other peoples recommendations on certain players. My scouts done it and believe me it was hard that first season getting thumped 6-2 at old trafford and 4-0 at anfield. Everybody signs Taribo West, and I did too but half way through my 2nd season Arsenal made a bid of 8m the board couldn't refuse it, Thats when I discovered Isaak Okoronkwo (900k min fee release)who I again sold for 19m to Juventus in season 4, my 3rd season was a disaster in the league finishing 14th but I blame this on my involvement in the Champs lge, my first group game was against Vitesse Arnhem and I stuffed them 7-0 at Goodison but only managed to get to the second group stage were I was totally outclassed, however I did win the league cup that season and the fans loved me coz I was building something special. Then an International job appealed to me, call me a patriot if you like, so I took over as Rep of Ireland manager, and this is where my greatest achievment came, not only qualifying for the 2006 world cup, but winning it against Germany in the final 7-4 in extra time, my god Robbie Keane had a tremendous game. We finished 90 mins at 3-3, they hit first in extra time and then sat back and then it happened, Keane already had 2, then came 3,4,5,6. They had no answer. 6 goals by 1 player in the Final of the World Cup:). I always say that the good times are better if you have experience with the bad times. I had no money with Everton but I made my team evolve. I guess what I'm saying is, quit cheating and try do it on your own without reseting or changing the editor. It feels way better when you win beleive me.

1.managing Barry town and talking 14 out of 15 championships and 13 cups...Also 7 or 8 straight champions leagues... (don't recall)
2.being undeafeted for 4 years and going on...
3.having Kanoute score 89!!!! goals in one season...
4.winning Oswestry Town 18-0!!!!
5. took the job as the manager of the Welsh national team and take both the world cup and the confederations cup within two years..
6.having every year exactly 25 players in the squad and for the last 5 years there were only 4 foreigners(Martin Fribrock[c], Gabriel Milito, Frederic Kanoute and Osaze Odemwingie)... all the others from the youth team!!!!
7. and finally my best game ever...in a champions league final against inter although behind the score until 88' (2-0)...I score in 88',92' and 96' with a penalty and a red card at the defender and I took the c.l. with a stunning performance...

re: What is you greatest acompishment on cm 01/02

I recall taking over Finlandia in the Swedish 2nd Division, a team with debt and I believe completely without staff or players. I took the team to the top of the Allsvenskan and onward to Champions League glory. I think I got as far as the Champions League final or within a few minutes of qualifying for the final. Took me about 10 seasons iirc.

re: What is you greatest acompishment on cm 01/02

With Newcastle, I won the premiership in the first year (only done it twice) then the champions league the next season at the first time of asking. In the same game, I went 2 whole seasons without being beat in the league and only missed out on a third one by getting beat by Bolton at home on the final game!!

I'll tell you how I done it if you don't believe me. It was with the 3.9.68 patch btw..
