just wanted to know what everyones highest score they have gotten on garibaldi. i have the gamecube version but thats not important. my friend and i think we have a good score at 1.7 million or so. and are trying hard to get close to 2 million. we think we could do it....

ok welli guess no one can give their highest scores. but anyways i was able to get 1.87 million last night. so the 2 million is getting closer.

I've gotten 2.1 million on Garibaldi.

I am like not even close to that. I think the highest score I ever got on that was like 800,000+. Any tips. I don't play that much but I don't see what I am doing that wrong.

I have 1.94 mill on garibaldi - recently got back into SSX having set that record a while ago, as a student (no shocks there!). Nearly smashed my record the other night, had 1.8 million, then missed the final x5 snowflake (by the finish line) by a whisker.
And there was much shouting and threatening to project playstations through windows, and there was little rejoicing.

Zubat - any good tips for getting over 2 mill? Reckon I will get there eventually but would like to hear any new angles...

As far as tips go, IGvandal, make sure you keep jumping diagonally at the same time as doing tricks.

The second x5, located at the end of a rail, thru a red screen on the r.h.s. of the track, is good for loads of points. Grind the rail, then before it dips down, jump off timing the jump so that your character will still fall into the red snowflake). You'll be able to fit in a signature move here and a diagonal jump. usually gets you at least 100k points.

Then the next x5 is just around the corner, on another rail, here I usually put in the signature move + the second longest ubermove for about 200k points. - to get a big air, use plenty of adrenaline on the rail.

+you can get constant tricky well quickly on this course. at the start, do 2 diagonal jumps + grabs before you get to the big drop and you should be ready for an ubermove. Get onto the rail on the right hand side of the jump (behind some chevrons), grind the rail, jump off and you will be able to fit in an ubermove there, before landing it on a thin grey rail. Ride this rail for a short time, jump off, fit in a signature move, then land it by the blue glass screen (shortcut) which is on the left of the track just after the first jump. go through the screen, ride the rail on the r.h.s of the shortcut track, jump off the end and you can fit in 2 ubermoves. Finally, boost your way down to the next jump (just round the corner) and you can jump high enough to fit in a signature move and another long ubermove, and grab an orange snowflake at the same time!

just a little tweak to Donsters start in girabaldi....
start off, do some small trick, doesn't matter. then, go on the red and white rail and while on it do 3 Unethicals....

then, slant slightly towards the left on the red/white rail, prewind, boost and jump off it and you CAN fit in 2 Character Ubers...atleast I can and i'm using Mac with the Uber Board.

then, once you land, jump off the side just before the blue ssx sign and do a character uber there...

the ofcoruse by that time your probably past the blue ssx sign so go on the red/white rail, do two ubers...

Wthe highest we've had round our gaff is 1.94 million on PS2. Just got an x-box, and finding it a little harder. 1.2 mill at the mo, and increasing

Is that due to the controller and you not being used to the layout? Have you considered buying a ps2 adapter? Or a controller S. I like that one, but think it's a little akward with SSX Tricky.

I can do 3 ubers in Garibaldi in at least two jumps, has anyone been able to do 4 ubers in one jump. Please be honest.

to be honest, i've never done it, but its not that hard to do 4 Sad-sacks using Mac on that one skinny ramp that is neaer the end. i've seen my friend do it once before, but its not important. my high score on girabaldi is now 2.16 million and i never did a quad uber on a jump. i do however do a triple uber on it...sad-sack to hand-in-hand to sad-sack.

what really surprises me is that one of my friend's friends managed to do 4 ubers in one jump in pipedream in the last humongous half pipe.

i bet i could rase your score by 100K easy... one of my friends found a secret X5 multiplier in Garibaldi in which you can do a character uber. i say "secret" because no1, i mean no1 else we asked ever knew about how to get there....

if you briefly tell me your run i could tell you how to get it...
