please can someone give me hint and tips for the star cup 150cc. and tell me the best combo of characters and carts.

Use light-weights. Use Toad and Toadette in Toadette's kart. Light-weights are the best to use if you aren't used to heavy-weights 'cos of their easy steering.

i used baby Mario and baby bowser for that and the bullet car it has 5 star speed i think 2 star weight and 3 or 4 acceleration.

I used Koopa and baby mario in toads cart to win that challenge!
Lightweight's are the best because they have good excelleration and if the crash they don't lose too much speed!

I used Toad and Toadette in Toads Kart to beat all of 150 cc and mirror mode.

The best combo to beat this cup, or any other cup, is whoever you are comfortable with. Try a few different combos and see which one is best for you. (If you haven't beat it already as I saw you posted this question a year ago) I know other people say light weights are best, but I actually beat this cup, and most of the others, with Wario and Yoshi.

for me i used paratropa, and donkey kong jr. in the red shell car

when i was behind i used paratroopa (red/green shells), when in front i used donkey kong jr to keep my place (banana's)

what really helps is if you find all the shortcuts...except for most of the shortcuts you need a mushroom, like the one shortcut in the cave at dino dino jungle

is there an FAQ that tells where the shortcuts are? I found 2 on the Yoshi track. (jumping the water and going off the side into the tunnel.) but that's All I've found so far. (just got this game last night)
